When I visited Nanakana Sahib, I never ever felt like I was in a different city / country - always felt like I was in my own family, only because of the love and affection of people like you in Pakistan. I went there twice, to all gurudwaras Panja sahib, sacha sauda, kartarpur, nankana sahib and many other places like samundri, layallpur, marri, pindi, kasur and lahore. Just myself and my wife. We never felt outsiders. we travelled by bus and train. Every Muslim bro and sisters gave us full respect, love and help. I was gr8 experience. I wish if I can live in Lahore or Nankana. All punjabis love each other only bhayias devided us. But respect and love all religions.

This is a Gurdwara something of the Sikh religion not Islam. You should go to Istanbul and Egypt if you want to learn about Islam but also of Christian history/heritage (Istanbul).
@elaturista, muslims dont worship at this temple. Sikhs worshship at this temple, built after the first Guru of the sikhs, guru nanak dev ji. Its here were guru nanak was born and founded the religion Sikhism. This terittory was a apart of India in the Gurus times, its only in 1947 this part of punjab got split and became Muslim Territory named Pakistan. But anyone is free to worship at a sikh temple regardless of race, color, creed or cast. Doesnt Matter, ONE GOD!

The pashtuns refer to their hindus and sikhs brothers as older brothers and Muslims as younger brother....They know they were hindu/buddist once...
