Impossible saving the CD32 system with games like this one in the 90's, it's not bad, but nothing great for that moment. Looks silly after some time...but good graphics.
Awesome, awesome graphics! I was trying to find Flink that would work with WinUAE. Unfortunately the 2-disk CD32 rip doesn't run properly on any of the configurations. Pity as I really wanted to play this, it's a true gem amongst Amiga platformers and one that truly showed off Amiga capabilities - compared to Sonic or Mario games.
Oh shut up, your just a AVGN fan who likes to compare everything to big game studio's like Nintendo and sega, go away let us amiga fans enjoy this vid.

For being on a 32-bit console, this doesn't look a whole lot better than a game on the SNES or a Sega 32X. The graphics look similar in quality to Mega Man X on the SNES from 1993...but that was from a 16-bit cartridge.
This game was actually released on Mega Drive (Europe) and Sega CD (N. America) w/ virtually the same graphics (there might--but might not as I don't recall exactly--be slightly more color in the 32 version, but that's it).
@ECMIM Being 32-bit does'nt mean that the hardware is any more powerful than 16-bit, just remember the atari jaguar - that was a 64bit machine, yet it didn't really compare to the ps1 / n64 did it...
Im glad that your version had just as bad sound effects as mine did. I thought that mine was faulty. now i know all of them had rubbish scrapy samples!
This game had beautiful graphics and some really creative design. I remember being really impressed by some of the later levels. I think there was one where you had to jump over these giant tomatoes rolling down a slope, and another where you had to jump from one gliding leaf to another. Something like that.
@mr2ange@mr2ange Don't even remember making that comment, but no, I was thinking of Flink. Search for "Amiga Longplay Flink" - tomatoes are around the 45 minute mark. Interesting that Mickey Mouse had the same concept, though.

There were lots of 32bit consoles that sucked

@mr2ange Uh, I didn't say anything about power--I said that it was "virtually the same"--not sure what you're going on about.

The music in the sega genesis version where awesome. Why isnt there any music at all here?
poppajoe11 3 years ago
the music was just ordinary cd-tracks stored on the game-cd and I think WinUAE is unable to record CD-Audio...

winamp can play tracks you need it as mp3s
