Given their habit of naming the dungeons the polar opposite of the Virtue they're opposing, I really don't get why they didn't name Hythloth something else, like Hubris.
Hythloth, from "hythlotheism," a doctrine of belief that equates god and the material world or advocates that there is no god except for matter and the universe.
"Hythloth" is quite eldritch but I think "the Dungeon Carnal" has a rather nice ring to it.
That wasn't a Dragon, it was a Drake... so it's less powerfull. Also, as said by Spiritsong59 the Stone Harpy is unique.
The Stone Harpy is not really that powerfull, problem is that magic weapons don't affect it, so Kikoskia had problems because of that.
Also, that Drake was defeated by the Death Scythe which I think is the second most powerfull weapon in the game (I always consider the Black Sword the best weapon).
btw, Kikoskia I really recommend the spell Restoration. It heals everyone.
Ya, I think the Death Scythe got the Drake, too. That is why you see the little yellow outline around the drake before it dies, it is one of the effects of the Death Scythe.
As far as healing goes, I suggest just pulling out the bed roll and sleeping for a few hours whenever your party is badly hurt or you won't make it through the next trap/monster. Restoration, etc are good, but use a lot of mana.
Well, Arcadion can recharge his mana right? I'm not sure if that was just once, or you could do it more often. Also he can use restoration until he's out of mana, and then sleep to get his mana back.

Kikoskia, you'd spend a lot less time returning to locations (like Pneumbra) IF you used the Mark and Recall spells

That harpy is one of a kind. I *think* it's the strongest monster in the game. But yeah normally dragons are top of the food chain.

Gin is great and also my drink of preference. Bombay Sapphire is the best :) It can also make tough parts of this long game seem much more palatable.
