@ShieldsJustice i've worked for gm for awhile and i didn't know that. i thought only the jimmy was labeled envoy for the last couple of years it was out then it became its own vehicle along side the trailblazer.
@SkeetSpyder I have a 92 jeep cherokee with 78,000 miles, and I believe most of those are towed miles. The people that I bought it from used to tow it behind their rv.
I sold cars for about a year and a half, we always said if the customer wasn't lying they weren't buying. There are complaints about the dealers scamming people but three out of 5 people I dealt with were trying to scam the dealer. After a while it gets real easy to justify screwing them before the screw you.
Read the contract all you want. They will take paper work to the back to get you a copy. Thirty minutes later, they will hand you a packet of paper with you signatures, and warranties, that they can exercise their rights not follow through on. Your contract is financed, they now have your signature, and the bank that the agreement financed through ("you didn't know about") gave a home to the judge, and is putting the sheriff's kid through school. You lose, and there's goes your credit. 99problem
There is something about cars that seems to bring out the worst in people. Car salesman, car mechanics, auto parts retailers, tow truck companies . . . I mean, seriously, you don't read about flower shops ripping people off this bad.
If you plan on buying a new / used car, I'd recommend going to the dealer with a recorder and have him explain every sentence on the contract. Also have him clearly state and sign that he gave you permission to record him. Lastly, get everything on paper. If necessary, have a lawyer write up a contract for the dealer to sign. If they refuse to sign it, walk out. It's sad we live in a country where your dealer can sue you for recording him, but you can't sue him for selling you a broken car.
Example. I bought a car for $8,100 dollars. But I financed it for $15,000. At 21% APR, I ended up paying $18,150 for an $8,100. I have no idea how I could be paying $150.00 out of $300.00 on interest rates. That is 50% not 21%.
@heartlessvietboy that is why interest and usury is banned in Islam. its a scam used to rob the poor people and make them slaves. never take something on interest.
dumb fkkkers, thats not even a trail blazer, its an old ass blazer!!!! i hate autosource!!! they took my friends trade in and never paid it off!!!! never buy a car at a used car place!! buy a used car at a new car dealer ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@lups2085 Agreed, used-car places are kind of shady. I feel safer buying from a new car dealership: some will actually let you return the car within 14 days and cancel the finance contract. However, they might not be able to give you your old car back if it was sold a few days ago. Buying a car can be tough, and there' s lot of homework to do. Sometimes I'd rather just ride my bike! However, even that has consequences. (See my vid to see what happened when I tried to ride my bike to work.)
Well don't be an idiot and by a trailblazer there not even reliable, piece of shit american cars that can't even go beyond 100K. It's like those fat people that banned Supersize because they complained that the food portions were to much and couldn't even get small portions and sue mcdonalds. This guy makes me sick. I don't feel anywhere bad about it. When you go to a car dealership, They expect you to be there friend, They just want to make a buck of you. Don't even trust anyone.
@SkeetSpyder To be honest, I haven't been in a single American car that hasn't be close to 200K miles and still running. I think most American cars are garbage as far as performance goes, but they're reliable as hell.
As usual taking advance of seniors. What he should do is have a senior moment , make no payments, let some dogs deposit a couple of huge lincoln logs and wait for repo. Hell he's old and got nothing to loose
Oh yeah. Sure. Read the contract. PUT IT IN FUCKING SIMPLE ENGLISH and maybe more people will read it!! No one can understand these fucking contracts...not even attorneys!! So, it's not enough to laugh and point at someone and say to them that they should have read the contract.
@agenthelios I think they should READ the ENTIRE contract. If you are dumb enough to sign your name on anything without reading and understanding what you are agreeing too, you my friend are an idiot and deserve to be taken. Maybe that will teach you to brighten up and not try to blame the guy trying to fuck you in the ass for doing it, YOU LET HIM. thank you.
@ agenthelios if that was true then why would anyone have to go to college to become a lawyer. Everything would be common sense and justice would prevail. This is America and that doesn't happen here.
the dealer has to give a contract cancelation option it manditory and the buyer need to know that he is buying a used car and the dealership cant make it a new car again but the due bill is were the salesman and the buying need to talk about what needs to be fix and what not i do the same thing with customers because im a saleman to and if we dont go through all the contracts and the buyer go to claims court we can get screwed that why u have to make sure the buyer knows hes signing
This guy knows he got taken, but it's his fault. The "borrow for the night" scam is one of the oldest tricks in the book. If they can tell that you really like the car but they can't get you to admit that day that you wanna go through with it, they'll say 'go ahead and take it home tonight and see if its right for you and then bring it back.'
They'll either get you the next day, or in this case they'll go ahead and trick you and actually SELL IT to you that night without you knowing it.
@kemcho75 I did not advocate murder and I hope the agreements would be relating to the fact that not many men sold dying horses then, and there are a lot of lemon dealers today...
never go early in the mornin they want to keep you there for 6 hrs. so they can tire you out so your mind will be easy goin cuz you wanna get outta there and drive your new car

Actually "TrailBlazer" was a trim line for the "Blazer" from 1999 until 2002, when General Motors spun it off as it's own vehicle.
