The music was written by Walter Afanasieff. Lara Fabian wrote the words to Broken Vow and also for Imaginer in French, which Jackie Evancho sings, using the same music. Hayley Westenra wrote the words to Gabriel's Oboe (Whispers in a Dream) which is on her CD Paradiso, also using the same music. David Foster has been a producer for Lara, Josh and Jackie.

Josh simply displayed his powerful voice here, but Lara sang with the soul of the emotion of the song. It's Lara's that made me cry though I would like to hear the male version to relate completely.
