Your job in congress is to represent your constituents and be our voice.
You voted YES to a 700 billion dollar bill to which the majority of your constituents clearly voiced their opposition.
Since you are not capable of carrying out the most basic of duties which is voting for your constituents wishes, may you never be elected to public office again as long as you live.
You have hurt many many thousands of tax payers both financially and emotionally. May God help you.
The straight talk of John McCain? He's both for and against privitizing Social Security. He's for an abortion exception that would protect the life of the mother, but also against it. He thinks the Confederate flag is a racist symbol, but on the other hand, it's a cultural symbol. The religious right are agents of intolerance, but not really. He thought the Bush tax cuts for the greedy superrich were irresponsible, but now should be made permanent.
Shays needs a weather vane to know which way to go. He wants to be everything to everybody, but votes to put the right-wing extremists in charge of the agenda.
Shays supports Bush's welfare-for-millionaires and slashing millions from education. He's on the Financial Services committee and took over $330,000 from securities firms last year.
Shays admitted he never read the pre-war intelligence briefing before voting to commit troops.
Other than environment and choice, he's a Republican tool.
Fantastic. From this ad, one might think that Shays is endorsing both Obama and McCain. There's also something about his voice at the end that is wonderful. Chris Shays is an institution and is here to stay. (That last part isn't sarcastic.)
It's incredible that Chris would transpose himself with Obama, especially considering that he already fully supports McCain for President. There is nothing partisan in that.
After 21 years of Chris' leadership, its clear Fairfield County needs a Congressman who understand that its citizens want better healthcare, better public education, and a more stable economy. Something Chris Shays and John McCain have failed to deliver on.

What a welcome relief. It's so nice to finally see a Republican abandoning pure partisanship and simply doing whats best.
