  • where are those animated scenes from? not the 3d ones, but the cartoons. Somebody said they're from the psx release, but I looked it up and only found the 3d scenes from the anthology release. Does anyone know where they're from? I'd really like to see them!

  • Who did this song?...It sounds like they stole the vocal arrangement from Offspring's Gone Away song.

  • @Bludcross This is the Gary Jules version of Tears for Fears 'Mad World' - originally used in Donnie Darko and also a Gears of War commercial (pretty effective in the latter, so much so it's background music in one of the multiplayer levels of 3 I believe.) I don't personally hear the Gone Away myself.

  • kefka is like the best villan followed by kuja

  • I hate Kefka. I find him annoying. And I don't like the way he treats poor Terra. I feel sorry for the girl being afraid of her own powers.

  • @Frostfire40 lol that's because he's a bad guy, the antagonist of the game duh.

  • @TheMustik92 I know :)

  • @Frostfire40 That, my friend, is what they call an antagonist- or 'bad guy' in lamen's terms...

  • @Frostfire40 eehh we are entitled to our oppinions. like for me and my brother we find kefka funny but i do see what you mean bout terra though

  • Kefka is algamation of evil intent, malice, pain, and madness that has culminated in a being that is to dangerous to like, but too missguided to not pity. He believes that senseless destruction is all there is, and will stop at nothing to achieve his wish of anilation. A villain with a purpose is evil. A villain without one is both the greatest villain in the world...and the sadest man on the planet. Sephiroth may have a sword, but kefka has something sephiroth never did: Pity.

  • @robloxfan459 Amalgamation, Not Criticizing, Just Saying

  • @BlueIgnemAeterum thanks:)

i knew i had the word wrong, was too lazy to look it up in word though:(

thanks for telling me though, now that i know it it should make future monologs more...

    gramatically correct:)

  • @robloxfan459 No Prob

  • @robloxfan459 There is no illogical behavior in the eyes of the person who makes a decision.

It might "technically" be illogical, but they made the decision for a reason.

    Be it selfishness or not.

Every decision they make came from somewhere.

The question is, show a story cover the REASONS they came to these decisions?

I'm personally a fan of games that do, and the better you understand or even AGREE with them, the better.

  • @eivarden Now wouldn't it be illogical if the reasoning brings them nothing? What does it bring to kefka to destroy everything?

All Kefka does is destroy, kill, and hate beings for reasons that have no corelation between them.

He destroys a villiage. Was it a threat to him?

    No

Did he get something from it?

    No

    Did he do it?

    Yes

Kefka is illogial because his reasons do not tranlsate to his actions, and his hatred for people is more than enough to make a story ignorable.

  • @robloxfan459

    Nihilism duuude; Nietzsche man!

  • @robloxfan459

God yes, I'm glad to see someone that feels the same about kefka.

  • For those of you who don't know, the footage isn't from any anime, but rather it is from the psx version of Final Fantasy 6.

  • I LOVE KEFKA hes awesomely insane

  • awful music

  • Yopu wanna know how I got these scars?

  • where's the footage from?

  • should've kept the in game speach, was very well done, arts well done but a lil too "sad clown" and not enough "bat fuck insane clown"

  • 0:25 Kefka is like "come at me bro"

  • I'm so damn sick of this bloody cloying sappy song and emo dweebs who identify with it.

  • @melosebrainuhoh It's seriously such a mind fuck for me that people still use the e-word.

  • crisis core is a sort of prequel too ff7 it shows the origins of all the stuff that happened a little through the eyes of a character who cloud i would say at least idolised and trusted just saying this incase you are wondering what crisis core is

  • also would like to add the 4 episode series called FF Legend of the Crystals. this one is a continuation of FF 5. 200 years later :) and cant memba if its a game or show but there is a turks version called crisis core kinda thinking game tho but again could be wrong so correct me if i am :) an sorry bout the double posting

  • nice liked it. was the 1st FF game i played but i played it on the snes. it was NO.3. that looks like NO.6 for psx it was the same game but u got all the cut scenes (cant say for sure tho so plz correct me if wrong). i am sorry if this has been posted but im not looking thru 100 of em. also there was the FF Unlimited anime series witch i really enjoyed. and everyone know bout the movies Within and Advent children but there was also a nice lil anime called last stand that is about NO.7.

  • Overplayed, and besides, Tears for Fears would fit Kefka's personality much better.

  • A final fantasy cartoon?

  • look there is no final fantasy anime stop posting comments that look like this where is the final fantasy anime i just want to see the final fantasy anime no body told me about a final fantasy anime where is all the final fantasy anime why wont any one talk about the final fantasy anime i need a final fantasy anime final fantasy anime

  • @zidaneffixexe Final Fantasy: Unlimited Complete Collection 2001

Based on the popular video game, this anime series begins when a gateway to another world abruptly opens. Two monsters quickly appear and, just as swiftly, destroy each other. Their only remains: a mysterious pillar of darkness. And so the journey begins for a set of twins whose parents disappeared that same day; that search for the parents brings the twins to a realm called Wonderland, where fantasy and danger go hand in hand.

  • @jasonheadlee2 my bad There is no final fantasy 6 anime and since unlimited is technically a spinoff in the ranks of the final fantasy movie spirits within it doesn't count as a main branch series and is not even canon neither is kefka in ff unlimited people please dont listen to this guy watch ff unlimited because you want to not because your expecting to see kefka i repeat kefka is not in final fantasy unlimited

  • @zidaneffixexe Hey, no problem. I understand that you weren't completely informed when you made your statement. It happens. Oh, and I wasn't telling anyone to watch anything. I was merely informing them that there is in fact a Final Fantasy anime out there if they want to watch it. I know that Kefka does not appear in the series I recommended, because I've watched the entire series. And on a personal note, punctuation goes a long way to make you look and sound more professional and believable.

  • @jasonheadlee2 and i clearly said there wasn't a final fantasy 6 anime i never denoted the fact that there was animes with the title final fantasy its a simple fact of there not being an anime "RELATIVE" to the video above pretty much all i was saying

  • @zidaneffixexe There is a Final Fantasy VII anime though...

  • @kyo1546 yes i am well aware of ff7 last order but i didnt like final fantasy 7 as much as i liked other final fantasy's like 1 2 4 5 6 9 (havent played 3 13 and 14) and think they deserve sequels prequels and f-ing movies

  • @zidaneffixexe I mean that's fine, but I was just saying because you stated that there is no Final Fantasy anime, but there is.

  • song name?

  • @robloxplox Michael Andrews - Mad World also known from the movie Donnie Darko ^^

  • an incredible song.

  • Okay, I hate this song. But yknow what? You just made me like it. No easy task lemme tell you. My first thought was that the tears for fears version would be better (cause on the surface Kefka is rather manic), but upon reflection, this version/song is PERFECT for Kefka. As a nihilist, this must be exactly how he feels on the inside. The world is a cold, empty and meaningless place, he laughs because he's too sad to weep. On top of that, this is a beautifully crafted video. Kudos :)

  • What's the anime called and Final Fantasy VII is not better

  • Where is the anime footage from?

  • they played this song when dom died in gears of war ...and yup kefka is god

  • wait. . . they made a FF anime?

  • Kefka, compared to the rest of FF's villains, is the TRUE personification of Evil... The guy has no remorse, he kills for run, he laughs at the sight of misery, he dresses up like a douche but he doesn't care. I really cant say the same to Chivalry Garland, Power hungry Emperor, Unproductive Cloud of Darkness, Sore brother Golbez, "Void this and void that" ExDeath, Mama's boy Sephiroth, Rush hour Ultimecia, Narcissistic Kuja and Ass biting Seymour...

  • @julzzville21

    lol. funny post. :-)

  • This version of Mad World is by Gary Jules. I'm tired of people liking this song then disrespecting it. Also originally done by Tears for Fears.

  • Kefka rules. Period.

  • ware did you get the anime looking videos at 0:34 ?

  • he is not a buffoon, he only is in dissidia and i think its wrong. He is an evil genius taking over a full empire and achieving god hood.

so a 6 winged god versus a one winged angel, who would win? :O

  • @TheThornbreaker non barbie will come in and sing "im a barbie girl" and tehy die

  • Awesome **

  • This insane buffoon will bow before Sephiroth.

  • @Elenolas kujas is better than kefka and sephiroth ha

  • @TheDarknessking1000 NOOO garland will knock them all down, your argument is invalid becuase they just all got knocked down.........garland wins as best villain.....

  • @transformersdudefred

All your arguements are invalid because you didn't even mention the villains that are the strongest and secretly behind EVERYTHING! In other words...

    THE MOOGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact, the Chocobos are the only ones keeping them in check so they are true heroes of the Final Fantasy series!

  • @TalesOfGod true they are evil, and they float so they cant get knocked down!

  • @TalesOfGod so true my brother was taken by those moogles scum

  • Is the 2D animation of Kefka real, fan made, or what? let me know I want to watch it

  • @mgabr1 fan-made

  • I felt so bad for Kefka in his end.

  • but when you COMPLETELY change a game then it becomes a issue and seems like nothing more then sucking up to gamers who hated the earlier games and would of prob hated the newer ones if they stayed with what worked. changing your game to please non fans does not help you sell more, it just switches fans.

  • @Dragonking1984 Not really sure what you're talking about right now.... but I'm guessing you're refering to the new FF style of gaming (Dissida, FF7CC, FF13 etc?). If switcing fans means getting a larger group of people, then it does sell more... sadly enough. If 70% of the gamers hate the old style, you're MOST LIKELY to sell more if you change the gameplay.

I really enjoy the old style of FF games, but I don't mind ALL the new things that much either. Dissida for instance is a good game IMO.

  • @GeneralErlend Dissidia is a fun game and I am an old school gamer.

  • @Dragonking1984 I r confused by this comment

  • @Dragonking1984 True, but switching fans isn't such a bad thing. Before all these games were changed, like for example Devil may cry, I would've watched the trailer and said "Screw this". Now I'm able to enjoy the old stuff AND the new stuff. Same goes with music, nothing is better than to be open minded in this world, it makes things fresh.

  • staying the same does not guarantee you will go under look at Mario. been pretty much the same for over 25 years and has not "gone under" yet. i will admit it's more of a "this game series is one of many that made up my childhood gaming" but i can't help but feel strongly against change to what i know love and grew up with. *metorid other M is another example of this so called change to please and draw in new gamers* i don't mind when they make minor changes to keep the games fresh.

  • Final Fantasy VI BEST FF GAME EVER! truly the peak of the hill before the decline into...Final Fantasy 13...excuse me a moment *goes and pukes*

  • @Dragonking1984 It's either stay the same for the old gamers and go under or change slightly each release and attract new gamers.

  • nice

  • Where are the clips at 0:16, 0:20, and 0:27 from? it looks like some FFVI remake which i have been waiting forever.

  • @Vuvuzelian No that's just the opening for those characters

  • @Vuvuzelian those are from Final Fantasy Anthology, a PS1 game that had FF5 and FF6 in one set

  • @Rikuno23 Thanks. I hope that when they remake FF6 they do an entire game looking like this. I would buy it 5 times.

  • thats what she said

  • Whots the name of that anime

  • @wolfmk100 Its Final fucking Fantasy VI, man. You live under a rock for the last 20 years?

  • @wolfmk100 It's a remake of the Full Metal Alchemist opening sequence with Final Fantasy VI characters. It's in the related videos under "Final Fantasy VI Anime"

  • @wolfmk100 What anime?

  • @wolfmk100 (if you haven't found out yet)

I'm actually pretty sure it's from FF6 for PSX. It has cutscenes in it

  • @cmdood92 Wasn't the cutscenes in the anthologies version in 3d, not 2d?

  • @HappleProductions I could be wrong here, but FF6 was also released on it's own for the PSX. It was recently re-released for PSN. In the description of the game, it states that it has cutscenes. I think it means 3D but maybe it does mean 2D i'm not entirely sure because i haven't played that version

  • This song is a "remix" of a Tears for Fears '80's pop song. This version became popular after its inclusion in the movie "Donnie Darko". I disagree without the other posters that write that "it expresses Kefka as being too depressed", I think this is an expertly devised vision of this character.

  • If I work for square I will get me an opportunity to create the "clown project" a game based on kefka side of the story from the beggining to the end also a spin off for general leo, a great character with a really minor part in the game and he deserves more than that. cheers for both the best clown ever sorry it and for the general in green "Leo"

  • what is that final fantasy cartoon there??

  • I liked it.

  • Huh... I don't think he ever really gets that melancholy, but where did those bits of animation featuring him come from anyway?

  • Kefka is the meaning of sadness haveint u heard of him?! xD

  • Way too sad and broody to be Kefka. Post-AC Cloud and end-game Kuja are better fit to Mad World.

Kefka would have something like "Surfin' Bird" or "Can't Stop the Rock." Or "I'm Destroying the World" by Guttermouth. Yeah, that's it.

  • @bendario I'm not so sure. Kefka is hate filled and loves destruction, but the reasons he loves hate and destruction are because he views the world empty and depressing, he doesn't see a purpose in being alive so he's going to destroy everything because in his mind he's making the world better by destroying it.

  • @rfman256 I was assuming you made the title up...that's why. Sorry if there are inconveniences.

  • @rfman256 really? do you expect me to know the title? that's why i asked in the first place.

  • @rfman256 really what? YES!

  • What's the song called?

  • What the 3D stuff from?

  • @Vanderhoffenmeister final fantasy VI for play station

  • Kefka's tribute

  • T-T

  • What's the song called?

  • @MasterAtFinalFantasy mad world... i forgot who sings it tho

  • I think Kefka just needs a hug. :U

*offers him a hug before getting LOJ'd*

  • @TheNewNumberUnoAeris LOJ'd?¿???

  • I'm sorry for Kefka ó_ò

  • I've never seen the cartoon clips before. Where are they from?

  • @orangeblossom03 Yes someone please tell us this?

  • @Zellig any answers?? :/

  • @Sacrengard Yep I eventually found out it's just sort of a collection of fan made animeish clips by someone no full length episode or anything unfortunately. ;.; Unfortunately I can't find the original source, unless it was made just for this video.

  • @Zellig It was called Detroit Vector City. I tried to find it again, but it got taken down.

  • Song name?

  • @zlordzyxxyz MAd World..... Y'know, the most depressing Christmas Number 1 ever

... And in the video title

  • wich anime is that?

  • ... I just noticed Kefka is too cliche a villain to be a good villain... Villains by today's standard has a motive for their actions. Kefka, Does not. He was too drunk to come up with one.

  • @Shurryy thats coz he is pretty nuts, which is y we love him really isnt it?

  • @Shurryy But he does, though. Kefka became mad after the magitek injection, and somehow saw the world differently. Having gone raving mad, Kefka thought that the world was incomplete, that it had to be destroyed to be cured. Being a psycopath, Kefka was also a narcissist, and thought of himself as this cure. Thus, his very motivation, and what makes him one of the (if not the) most popular villains, is so hard for sane people to deal with. There is a lot of effort put into Kefka, and his motives

  • @NobleClassAngel

Very well thought out speech there, but the amount of motive behind Kefka's actions is pretty close to zero unless completely. His background is a villain is basically "I am evil because I am a psychopath", and that's as original as your everyday psychopath that are mostly considered to be evil because they do evil things that they consider good. Which is pretty much for no reason at all. The thought behind Kefka was: "Meh, we'll just make him a psychopath and get over with it"

  • @Shurryy While I agree with the "Just make him a psychopath and get over with it" I still think his complete madness and ruthlessness was well done. I've never loved to hate a Final Fantasy Villain more. I only wish they had made him more active in the 2nd half of the game.

  • @vankook I think by not seeing him from Floating Continent until the final fight it makes the confrontation more climatic (and makes him appear more omnipotent by not seeing him), when during all the side quests you hear about all the death and destruction Kefka has brought the world. By this point the anticipation is almost unbearable making for an epic showdown.

  • @Shurryy People will always see things differently. If you find Kefka pourly made, then by all means! I mean, FF is a video game, it's entertainment. I just know that there are reasons for Kefka to be one of the most popular villains ever, and I can see why. =)

  • i think kefka should write a book.

it could be called "through the eyes of a psycho"

or something involving the word "misunderstood".

  • Where are the Cartoon clips from?? I see Dissidia and the PS1 clips but I don't know the others

  • This is the world... through the eyes of a completely normal person.

  • @RiceUEat This is the world... through the eyes of someone In between Psycho and normal.

  • what song is this?

  • @riax221 its called mad world by Gary Jules

  • very cool and beatiful

  • Awesomeness *o* Perfect song choice

  • hmm is awesome were did you get the animated clips?

    Shadow-

  • Perfect song for Kefka :3

    5 stars!! *****

  • =o Pretty =o

  • Cool man.

    5/5

  • Heel Cool gedaan kefka

  • I liked this. Lots of emotion :D

    Well done!! 5/5
