i have a question cuz im not good on cars. so if a 3 series comes stock with a turbo, all u need to do is buy an aftermarker bov? if so how much do they run for?
@dbsshadow You don't NEED to but buying one will significantly help perfomance and durability. The Blow off valve in this video runs about 530$ brand new, but you can get them alot cheaper used. And they are other BOVs around for cheaper but HKS makes good shit.

Some of you morons have no idea. A blow off valve does not regulate boost pressure to stop the turbo generating too much boost and blowing up the engine. That is the wastegate fools. BOV is to cut down on lag and stop the turbo stalling after gearchange, etc.

yeah a blow off valve regulates boost pressure, if the boost exceeds a certain threshold, it then open the valve and dumps the excess air into the atmosphere instead of back into the engine keeping it from producing more power then you want or blowing up the engine

The only 2 three series with a turbo is the 335i or 335xi and they both have twin turbos or bi-turbo and the m3 has a turbo lol 330328318 no turbos c
