Assholes like Santorum would have you slave away your whole life to pay taxes to the fascist pig government until you drop dead from old age. Also if Santorum thinks war with other countries is so great, why doesn't he get his pampered ass over there on the front lines. Huh, didn't think so, but he would send you kids over there to their deaths in a heartbeat.

Social Security is especially unfair to people with lower incomes, who tend to start work earlier in life, are more likely to work hard physical labor, and who statistically die younger. Raising the retirement age just means they never get a break, working to give money to others. They'd be much better off to spend the money sending their children to school or buying their own business, and relying on their children to support them than to never see a penny.

@IMissLiberty Well, there you go. That is the plan for SS, make the age to collect just after the average age of death. That way, whatever comes in, they can keep stealing and spending.

This guy never did real work in his life; he mostly got tax payers to pay him great salaries, excellent healthcare insurance and huge pension benefits and what has he accomplished? Other than welfare for the rich and big corporations. Nothing that helps average Americans and now he wants to gut the earned benefits of American workers; many who have worked very physically demanding jobs. Santorum go work in construction, steelwork, and other demanding jobs for a few decades you soft frothy fool.

Boy oh boy, if this guy has anything to do with it I will never be able to retire. I am a plumber, take a look around for guys in their late 60's or 70's who are still plumbing, you do not find many. This guy seems to think that everyone sits behind a desk and feels no physiacal repercussions to their job, that just isn't the case.
