while this cover is good...i really do hate it when people throw fills in when it doesnt belong in the song and other unnecessary stuff in songs, it takes away from the song and sounds horrible..but i'm a firm believer in if your gonna cover a song..play it the EXACT way it is and sounds on the album..but im just that type of person that get's irritated at covers that don't song like the original song...good cover anyway though

dude you're playing zones are so small....very impressive....my ONLY suggestion is to dig into your snare a little more in louder parts of any given song. it would add good dynamics. but your rhythm is great, your feel is pretty good, and your playing zones...goodness haha. great work! also, you should invest in some drum mics and then make your videos with movie maker, or imovie. it would just sound cleaner :P

I also have a website where it says he used that Zildjian cymbal and he used a Zildjian A Custom Crash cymbal. Also, they say he's using that cymbal, but if you look on the drum channel where Portnoy jammed with Bozzio, Mike is using a Sabian HH 22" Rock Ride. On Almost Easy, and all tour's AFTER Avenged Sevenfold came out, The Rev used the AAX Metal ride as his secondary ride.
