  • Awesome, thanks for this Vid.! Of course predators have to eat, but I enjoy seeing the prey fight successfully for another day!

  • Realmente hermoso!! una madre!!

  • i fucking hate hyenas!

  • @rayman1977918 These are Wild Dogs, Not Hyenas!

  • man nature is just so amazing , thanks to the uploader :D

  • mamá, ma, mami ,mama máma, maman,ma, mama, mamma, mamãe ,mãe,mā̃,em ,ima,má,mam, eomma ,amma, oma, ammi or "ummi", or just Nothing in any human or animal language.... a mother is a mother....! Only they can understand the value of life they,ve brought to this world.

  • Female wildebeest. " uh uh, after 4 hours of pushin that thing outta me u aiinnnt gonna fuck it up fo me now!"

  • oleee anda ke nooo !!! bienn por la madree ñuuu ke instintoo protectorr anda ke noo

  • the way the calf dances of happiness when he is back into the herd is nice :)

  • @2:32 the tread of victory!

  • Why didn't you just shoot the wild dogs?

  • @loribaby328

I hope the same thing. I hate wild dogs. I know that they are carnivore and need to eat to survive but still I hate them. the way they kill their prey is really horrible.

  • It's too bad animals don't understand the mechanics of battle. Momma coulda crushed those dogs if she did.

  • even the wild dogs were impressed

  • Apolgies everyone for not realising that these are not hyenas. Of course, it is obvious when it is pointed out. Thanks for that. Bu they are still wild animals looking to survive. So no apologies for thinking that I have no problem with a calf wildebeest being eaten. Part of the cycle of life. How many animals get killed by humans and don't get eaten, just for fun?

  • muy bueno el video

  • I wish some human were half that protective of their children

  • Quase ñ salva

  • Suerte de no haberse encontrado con hienas o leones sino me temo que hubiese habido otro final.

  • Mother is the greatest love ever

  • Respect for Love

  • Hyenas are wild animals too. Now some of them might be starving. Hyenas don't eat grass...

    2 sides to the story.

  • @blackmanjohn9 those weren't hyenas. But hyenas also scavenge so I doubt they will be starving if this was their situation...

  • @blackmanjohn9 arent hyenas u moron^^

  • inspiring

  • uma imagem como essa retrata o poder que a fé tem. ate entre os animais selvagens a fé ou a luta pela sobrevivencia tem grande poder.

  • good job you are a real parent

  • *yawn*...this is what life is like everyday for me and my niggas in the hood.

  • About time i see one that doesn't run away and get her own calf killed...

  • She's a winner ღღღღღ

  • Wild nature is fantastic.

People are more dangerous than the animals in the wild nature.

    People make financial war, too.

  • stupid song nice video

  • good shit by the mum

  • Wonderful! Perhaps more human than our instincts ! *****

  • Lovely video!

    Peiraiotis56, thanks for sharing!

  • That was beautiful. She really risked her own life there. Just one slip up and they would both have been killed. And people say animals can't love, if this here isn't proof of the contrary then I don't know what is.

  • @manicbash They don't exactly love in the human sense though. Its all instict... Well maybe elephants, chimps, dolphins and crows might have complex emotions but not most animals

  • @BananaBoyL337 To be truthful, saying anything about how animals feel is null and void really; and we'll never know. Does that mother protect the calf out of love or instinct? Can you ask the wildebeest and receive an answer? No. Can you experience what the wildebeest is feeling and thinking? No. Can you insert your own opinion on the matter? Of course.

  • @manicbash I guess you do have a point there

  • I wish all of the mothers are able to protect their calfs.

  • Mama was NOT playing with those hyenas!

  • @that80sblackchick if those were hyenas that dude didnt survive at all

  • way to go mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THEYRE LIKE CHAVS!

  • Imagine if that was you in there...

    "SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIIITTTTT" hahaha

  • supermum!!

  • Why the hell did this come up in my recommended box? I don't even WATCH animal videos!

  • @sonex1203 ..see, youtube knows you better then you yourself..

    ; - ))

  • Thanx Super Mom!

  • Those dog are very methodical and clever. Never attacked calf while mom was onto them, always from behind, one by one, sneaky little sh*ts.

  • No top comment? NOWS MY CHANCE... um.... POTATO!

  • BUENO

  • It is almost as if she knew it was a contest of stamina. She made it that way. Seems that all carnivores have less stamina than the herbivores, isn't it?

  • @radioactivefication yeah no shit when your running for your life you wont believe how much stamina you have

  • OMG She won!! They gave up !!!

  • @amricaiscowardnation at least it's alive, most of time predators end up killing the babies

  • Glad she won in the end, doesn't happen often it seems

  • The female did a horrible job. The baby was succesfully bitten multiple times.

  • @amricaiscowardnation stfu plz

  • @amricaiscowardnation it has to get roughed up a little bit of else hows it going to learn to defend itself later on

  • @amricaiscowardnationthey yhh true but they still got away lol

  • That was actually impressive.

  • Damn, nature is harsh.

  • These are not hyenas. They are African Wild Dogs.

  • haha they aren't even hyena's idiot

  • @SammySkater666 Wow, lol thanks to you I didn't comment about "hyenas". Didn't know the difference. I learned something today!

  • those are lycaon's.

  • hyenas are pussies !!!

  • great team work mum and baby :D

  • moms love saved him owesome video

  • wow, fighting for survival. At the end, it's a more like the ones with more endurance win. They look so tired.

  • :) good mommy.

  • hah hah hah pes etmişler

  • amına koduğumun sırtlanları

  • this is motherhood.......

  • what a sad movie. now those hyenas will go hungry.

  • @Pulpgimp They're wild dogs.

this video is a good example of determination. the mother wildebeest could just run away and breed in the next season but she stayed and fought those ugly cowards to save her cub. not many wildebeests are so brave.

  • @pistonpkm ah now, they're hardly cowards..they're just doing what their instinct tells them to do

  • @pistonpkm if you saw wild dogs coming towards you, you would be a big fucking coward so sont say theyre cowards

  • @EuanLockhart Of course, a group of "non coward" dogs coming at me would leave no choice but to flee, otherwise it would be certain death.

I have nothing against the dogs or any creature that rely on teamwork to strive in the wild so let us shut up.

  • Wow. Both the mom and her calf are warriors.

  • Super mom !

  • zomg i kept saying if the calf dies im gonna cry

  • @2:34 win

  • It's a bit sad how the rest of the herd moves on regardless. If they could come back and just scare the hyenas away...

Then again, sadly this is how the great cycle works :C

Things die so other things could live and produce more life...

Us Humans just don't learn about it that way. Things only die for us, while we die for no particular reason...

  • @Kevooi they're African painted dogs, not hyenas

  • @wolfwolf220

    Interesting. Now I know! :D

But even so, they couldn't resist the mauling of a decently-sized group of wildebeest.

  • @Kevooi here in SA we just call them wild dogs ;)

  • my own cunt of a "mother" should learn of this animal. :)

  • what an awesome video.

it shows how the mother doesn't care about her self when her child is in danger.

she made 5 hyenas or something look like hyenas get exhausted hyenas are known with there high stamina.

  • @talwedo these are shakals

  • @Numira thanks, i was waiting for the correction :)

  • @Numira what the hell is shakal?

  • Comment removed

  • Aw im sad and happy about this vid

the calf didnt get eaten, but the wild painted dogs (My favorate animal) didnt get to eat 3:

  • That mother is lucky not to have been eaten herself!

  • tht poor thing D: thts so sad

  • song name...alexander pearls...the pulll...

  • This is my favorite all time animal video. There are people that you meet who are like jackals everyday. There are people in your life who protect you from the jackals also.

  • Aww bless, what a good mother. Love her triumpht trot when her and the baby run off :)

  • I hate Wild dog.. :(

Does anyone know a link that contains the wild dogs killed by another animal?

  • @penyokboyz U CARNT JUST HOPE THAT SOME 1 HAS A LINK LIKE THAT + FUKIN NO1 IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Wild dogs are like a pack of young black kids who prey on defenseless people....

  • @winrx Not racist at all XD

  • Dogs at bay are dangerous!!!

  • You can't have such feelings unless you have a baby.

  • @naeemtalat who are you to say what feelings others can and cant have?

  • @cincinatus90 this simply absurd

  • @naeemtalat Pathetic response. Just because somebody doesnt have a baby, doesnt mean they can feel that way too.

  • CameraMan Should help Imo..... But then we wouldnt have this great footage

  • @Apostle0fLove one of the first thing a cameraman is taught when filming wild life is to NOT INTERFERE WITH NATURE. Animals eat other animals every day, grow up and learn that everything can't have a happy ending.

  • i wish i could teleport myself there and help that mother

  • @jin7210 I understand wanting to help, humans have that emotion called sympathy after all. However, you also have to think that these predators need to kill in order to eat and feed their own families. If they don't, they starve. They don't have the saying "Nature is cruel" without reason. Also, without predators the herbivores would slowly expand their population past the carrying capacity for the environment. Once they do, starvation and disease would run rampant.

  • @shewolf51 yes u r right,i know this carnivores has to feed themselves

  • @jin7210 That's good. It's nice to see at least one person who keeps this in mind. I've run across far too many people lately who wish a painful death on the predator simply for doing what they must. It's good to see you aren't one of them.

  • @shewolf51 its ok.even us human eat animals, like chicken in KFC etc..

  • At the beginning of this, I was sure the wild dogs would eventually prevail. No love compares to a mother`s love.

  • Go you Good Mamma !!

  • At 2: 20 the mother runs away with pride. Wow, what a good mother. The little one is so funny (how it's runs after his mother). I'm very happy the mom and her baby survived. The mom is having experience. The dogs luckely gave up.

  • At list this mother wilderbeast didn't act like a bitch nice video, but predators has to eat actually.

  • what a practical great love and care, can't be described in words. awesome video

  • Never mess with a mother and her calf

  • Welcome to the world young padawan-beest

  • such a epic scene at 2:20 when the fight was over!

  • awesome video

  • thedistortedguitar1 you are complete reason :)

  • How did they get away, why did they give up. Lucky i think.I hate this, but its the foi=od chain. .. . . The old phrase happy to eat it, but not happy to eat it springs to mind.

  • lots of little calves in this herd!

  • Kudos for Mama.

  • now that's survival of the fittest!

  • l'animale caccia la preda finche crede di averla inseguita abbastanza.. l'uomo la caccia finche non è morta!!!!! vecchio detto indiano. gio

  • celebration of survival

  • see the way she trots away?! as if she says " what a good job I've done, "

  • Poor dogs they have probably gone over a week without food

  • quel courage!!! un exemple!!!

  • fdp de lobo

  • awwwwwwwwww <3 that was really sweet. If only more human mothers were that devoted to the well being of their offspring

  • This is beautiful and the music fits perfectly :)

  • The calf was badly mauled. Did it survive the night?

  • great job ñu's mother!!!

  • aaaaw poor little animal :'(

  • bitchy mom!

  • I liked how they left the battlefield triumphantly! =)

  • wildebeests are not the most beautiful or smartest animal in the savanah but the mothers are very dedicated to their young i've seen some die trying to defend them from packs of lions

  • i mean hyenas gotta eat

  • I'd go to war with that wildebeest any day

  • this mother animal is far better than kaycee anthony...thumbs up all who agree!

  • Your right, Hyenas come from Hyenidae LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @GODH8TZ Hyena comes under The Cat Family even-though it looks like a dog. Hyenas are more closely related to The Cats

  • super mama !!!!!!!!

  • A classic example to be emulated by the human kind! What a deed, between life and death. Wildebeest with a do or die policy. A great show...

  • I hate hyenas , lions hate them too , they kill them for sport.

  • @GODH8TZ Aren't these Jackles?

  • @xGHOSTXRECONx Jakals look more like cyotes or wolves, but im not an expert you could be right! hyenas are part

  • Comment removed

  • @xGHOSTXRECONx These are African Wild Dogs. Jackals look incredibly different as do Hyenas.
