Yeah, she has gun. But Street fighters can take fireballs and survive, so guns as well.

Me think that it was simply unnecessary risk from Viper part, she will gain nothing by killing Cammy and will risk Delta Red going all over her ass if she wins or even worse if she loses.

It is a good matchup, no way to really know who will win.

Hadouken is basically a flying punch. Only Akuma's Hadouken can actually kill. So they could be killed by a gun.

Not to mention Bison psycho power is stronger than a gun shot, and they survive that.

The EX series is non-canon though (the new characters in those games weren't even made by Capcom).

And while Psycho Power may be overall stronger, Bison in SFII and SFIV is weaker then Alpha Bison.

So they can probably take gunshots as well without dying immediately...

One example is that in the game - when Cammy meets with Viper, she does not recognize her.
