That's because you watched the video on Youtube. Youtube videos are highly compressed. Even the HQ ones. The Red One is one of the only cameras that shoot at 4K resolution, that is way beyond 1080p. On top of that it's only 17G as opposed to other HD cams that run for 2-4 hundred grand. Also unlike other video cameras The Red One doesn't have difficulty achieving a shallow depth of field and it's capable of achieving a film like slow motion.

Now how about updating more classic war movies like Bridge Over the River Kwai, All is Quiet on the Western Front, The Battle of the Bulge or The Dirty Dozen? It would be interesting and hopefully not long-winded like Lord of the Rings movies and King Kong. Definitely would like to see less serious films like he used to do such as Bad Taste, Braindead and Meet the Feebles. How about a real grindhouse movie? I want to see his take on that.

Go to the airshow during Easter at Omaka in New Zealand! You will able to see Peter Jackson's WWI flying and ground theatre display.

The planes, tank, artillery etc. are NOT computer generated, I have seen them first hand in action two years in a row. Next year should be even better!

As well as this there are WW2 and Vietnam scenarios which I am a member of.

There are also many other unique aerobatic displays and rare aircraft on show.

King Kong was an ape sized piece of crap movie. Special effects and cinematography looked exciting but the movie was really slow and over 3 hours! If I could have a say in Peter Jackson making more zombie movies and insane human aliens I would like to see more. At least this is 15 minutes and is complete. It's straight to the point. There's no need to inflate it into a 3 hour epic film. A 90 minute masterpiece might be okay though.....
