So now I am forced to take some demeaning job. Factory assembly, fast food restaurants, and retail stores turn me away because I am "overqualified."
My demeaning job will probably be my own business filming webcam girls. Who would have thought I would not have been allowed to use my brains and instead rot away on something so trivial.
Engineering is fine if you have relatives or friends that help you get in. This is not the case with me. I can not get interviews, despite my EE degree PLUS experience from 10 years ago.
Unemployment among American engineers is high. They wasted too much time and money for chasing a dream that they never really had a chance in obtaining--that was my case.
Colleges should only let in enough students to replace the available engineering jobs.
I need you to build me a dispenser here, and make me a delicious sandwich!!!
Naw i kid now! Female engineers are as equal as male engineers, just a bit more interesting and have boobs... sexism aside, I am a Mechanical Engineer, now going for Electrical, and more women need to go for engineering, its freaking sausage fest in the classrooms!
This is a great introduction for any woman interested in engineering. I like how the categories were broken down so simply, and seemed to invite further exploration.
