to about two inches in length. then cut more layers underneath that, progressively longer.

I's called scene hairtyle or a japanese mullet. If you want your hairdresser to style your hair this way you should go to Google/images and type in 'japanese scene hairstyles' and choose one u like, print it, then show it to your hairdresser
