  • hi whats the music what a awesome job great vid man

  • Great video!

  • Absolutely perfect and the same method I used myself, Nice job Kasper. Thumbs up!

  • Bad ass work man!!

  • IS,T >>STAILESSSSSS SILIILLY

  • awesome! what can be done to protect it after?

  • @Aqlor I just use car wax. I will get some staining but it can be polished out quite fast and easily.

  • @KasperKarver such a quick reply ! thanks :D

  • im impressed

  • What made you use a foam pad vs. microfiber or a terry cloth pad?

  • @sonyab523 foam pad was all i had and it worked quite well.

  • That is awesome man. I did this to my 3.5" switch bay on my computer. It took a lot of work to do. I had to use a dremel though because the part is so small. Looking at my video I would change the way I did it. It was my first attempt at polishing aluminum.

  • that looks sick! I will use the same products on my wheels. Didn't know you could make aluminum look like that!

  • Man what the hell, I had someone polish my wheels, swing arm and frame on my motorcycle and it looks nothing like this. What steps would you recommend since my parts are already polished or should I start from the beginning?

  • I have never polished wheels. This was my first project and i was starting with a new snowboard, ie., no scratches just a dull finish.

  • this video is so relaxing and calming to watch lol

  • please tell me exactly hw to do this i REALLY want to polish the back of my ipod touch

  • hey just wondering what did you use i.e which sanding paper from to ect... thanks in advance

  • @llHitmakeRll

everything i did to this board is in thew video, i did not use any sandpaper.

  • didn't need any sandpaper, board was pretty smooth to start. Cheers.

  • What model of snowboard is that? I know the Burton T6 is aluminum...is that something I could polish similar? I have an awesome pair of polished stainless Volant skis, but I am looking to get into a snowboard, but I love the look.

Do you have any issues with snow/ice sticking to the top of it?

  • @v12tommy

It's a Prior WCR and they are not made any more cause a lot of them break, now they cover the metal with a topsheet. I have not found a way to keep ice from freezing to the top, tried just about everything.

  • @KasperKarver thanks for the info. I use a good quality paste car wax on my polished Volants. Snow and Ice still stick, but it drastically reduces the sticking on top.

  • is that snowboard 6061? sorry im not a snowboarder just wondering about the pollishing

  • 6061 is not really a good choice to make a snow board out of that due to the tensile / bending stress and shock with every landing.

  • wow that look grate man !!!

  • whoa wait a minute.. i been trying to polish aluminum for such a long time and it never turns out nice like this.. i use a handheld small dremil... with jewelers rouge and it comes out shiny but never like a mirror.. what items do i need? i see u listed them but where do i get them?

  • @TheWhiteye004 everything in this video i bought at ACE hardware store and NAPA autoparts. cheers!

  • SSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKK!!!!!

  • wtf?! u even use your own handkerchief , nice polishing .. helps alot . tnx

  • magnificent

  • You make my day, all try this next week. Thanks.

  • celtic music, thought it sounded better than a spinning polisher. I am polishing the top of the board, strictly cosmetic. cheers.

  • Dude! All I have to say is that you rock! It shows that you are a snowboarder who takes great pride in your equipment! That finish is completely outta hand!

  • thanks, too bad both these boards got snapped in half and Prior is not making them anymore.

  • blue magic!!!!!!! now there's a guy who knows his polish. fuck mothers!!!!!!!!

  • hmm i wonder if you can use it for aluminum rims? can you clear coat over that stuff?

  • will this Blue Magic OR the other stull remove mini scratches??

  • @fuzzingaround simichrome gets rid of the fine scratches and it works great on over spray from paint

  • thx, I got both stuff and it reaaly works great.....

  • nice work, pitty it tarnishs so fast if not lacqured

  • That is SO time consuming, but the results are worth all the blood, sweat and tears.

  • that was sick! thanks

  • Where did you get the pad for the random orbital sander? Thanks Joe

  • excuse my ignorance, is that the top or bottom of the board?

  • It is the top. The holes in the board are where the bindings will mount.

  • that is the top of the board. The bottom would still be steel edges and ptex (the glide surface).

  • looks like chrome plated to me!!! you aint foolin me

  • if it WAS chrome it would be a lot easier to maintain!

  • gay music(sry :-D) but nice video!

  • great vid. marine corp quality shine! who was the highland piper? (great music).

  • Thanks for posting this! Great how-to guide!!
