@Qugr I haven't been playing alien swarm or scripting for quite some time; however, last time I checked this only work if you were the host, and you have to turn sv_consistency to 0. If that doesn't work, it's safe to say valve has fixed this by now. It definitely isn't the first time that has happened, seeing as how valve broke testscripts in css rendering most of my work useless.

And I don't have countless amounts of people verifying that this is in fact legit. The only issue is that valve tried to patch it by adding consistency checks. You can fix that problem by typing "sv_consistency 0" in the console when you start a server.

to get people to join and to bypass the consistency checks, go to console, then type

sv_consistency 0

this will allow other people to join your game :D

but there is a way around it.

if your joining friends have them open up console and type in:

to let you join.

also, when you host no one can join you unless u do the same thing with the code above.

Hmm, apparently you can get sourcemod to work with this, then we can client side run it and enforce cvars with sm_cvar, however i cant get it too work. If you havent tried already you should give it a go.

@IPlayInBeastMode Have you found a way to enforce cvars upon yourself, you can use cheat engine to bypass cheats but you dont get achievements for that, since your obviously better at programming than me i was wondering if you knew anything xD.

@AiMProDiiGy There's a way to copy a cvar like sv_cheats and then rename it to say mooby_sv_cheats, then you can manipulate the value of the new cvar and get the same effect as if sv_cheats was 1. That's all I know that pertains to that though. Only been programming for less than a year.

hmmm there in lies the problem, the only thing that i have noticed your files do is shoot allot of rounds with each shot, which i can already config on my own, what i didnt see it doing was instant kills, infinite ammo, instant reloads. so i am guessing that either it cant do that or that for some reason the files i downloaded arent config-ed to do it. the method i am using is one that could easily see people getting massive VAC bans if i release the method, so cant tell

The scripts worked to the full functionality showcased in this video before they were patched. I'm currently writing a .dll to fix the problem as I'm quite sure I've found a way to bypass the patch. From what you have said, it sounds like you're the one with the issue because you cannot get one shot kills etc. to work.

Do you really think valve cares enough to track someone down who's using a hack and ban him for it? Someone whose steam account is completely anonymous? I'm simply telling you these things for the sake of learning. I've already targeted a method to bypass their consistency checks. Just want to get that out there as I noticed people think valve is omnipresent.

I find it VERY hard to believe that of the 1,000 people that have downloaded this cheat and got it to work, your copy was somehow corrupted to only contain the values that control fire speed and none of the other ones. Simply redownload and reinstall it. Again, there's no way you're getting the fire rate mod but not the infinite ammo / instant kill mods. They're in the same files...
