Korean (hurhurhur big kpop fan RIGHT here) 2. Chinese as in Mandarin(sang by the taiwanese is the best) 3. Chinese Cantonese (the song in the video is actually enjoyable :3) 4. Japanese 5. Thai 6. Viet... is just weird

  • korean

  • Thai, Tuvan, Mongolian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, etc are all good no reason to rate who sounds the best because every on has different tastes I like all music so I cant rate them, it's like who looks the best, I cant do that sorry...

like japanese (because of the anime theme song)

    korean(kpop sounds good)

  • It just seems like a popularity vote.!

  • my favorite is probably korean. i like the flow. i also like japanese because it sounds more straightforward(i guess not the best word to describe) i mean really it depends on the users accent more than the language itself in my opinion.

  • What about filipino? (Tagalog)

  • The Yue tribes from Vietnam became independent. While the Yue in Guangdong mixed heavily with Han Chinese, resulting in Cantonese today.

  • I just hate only ching chong ting tong mainland chinese......Love the whole of Asian except ugly chinese

( they picked a worse Vietnamese singer (anonymous) who got South accent..and she probably is ancient chinese )

  • @ChinktardsLikeShit LMFAO, viet duck language. quacking all day long. viet has always been disgusting. but 80s and 90s, viet swarm over cantonese entertainment. singers, movies, you name it.

not once has ugly viet ever been popular. well, not once has worthless shitnamese ever top rank in anything important. not avg iq, not forbes, no gdp per capita LMAO. you have 10 times LESS population than China but your gdp per capita is STILL lower. what a bunch of subhuman creatures.

  • @angryaznman Your insult to Vietnamese is absolutely unnecessary. I'm Cantonese but I'm disgusted at the way you insulted Vietnamese people. Without Han Chinese migrants from Tang dynasty mixing with Nanyue natives, there wouldn't have been Cantonese people today.

  • @owardis397 the nanyue natives in canton has nothing to do with viets. rather, viets were conquered by nanyue.

LMFAO you gaylord. you made that video and you come here and act high and mighty to me?

    你係咪真係香港人呀?

  • @angryaznman

Nanyue natives has A LOT to do with viets. Genetics even show this, they were basically the same stocks. I don't care if you disagree course genetics don't lie. The original inhabitants of Guangdong was Yue. At first I though they were different Yue tribes, but now I'm sure the Yue in Guangdong and North Vietnam was the same.

Nanyue subjugated kingdoms of Minyue (diverse ethnic) Yelang (tibeto-burmese) Tongshi-( possibly burmese?) but Au Luc was same people as Native Guandong.

  • @owardis397 nope. you are lying.

    Nanyue Ethnic Makeup

The Nanyue lived in north, east, and central Guangdong, as well as a small group in east Guangxi.

The Western Valley (Xi'ou) lived in most of Guangxi and western Guangdong, with most of the population concentrated along the Xun River region and areas south of the Gui River

The Luoyue clans lived in what is now western and southern Guangxi, northern Vietnam, the Leizhou Peninsula, Hainan, and southwest Guizhou.

  • @angryaznman

I don't need to lie. All cantonese people today have some Yue blood today. The first culture of Hong Kong was of the Yue culture, this means Yue expanded to east and west guangdong. Cantonese have some haplogroup O2a, O2a1 with viets, which clearly show they were the same tribes. How the hell can we deny this? 72% of our Y-dna is similar to North Chinese. While 20-23% North mtdna are similar to North Chinese. The rest are similar to Vietnamese. Chinese + Vietnamese = Cantonese

  • viet is only one of the yue tribes.

  • @angryaznman West Guangdong was not part of Nanyue, it was part of Minyue. Nanyue Kingdom included as far as Dongguan and Hong Kong. Most of the Han Chinese mixed in Guangdong with Yue tribes. Explain to me why Cantonese Y-dna is 72% Northern but Mtdna 70% southern. If we did not mixed with Yue and if Yue were the the same people as Vietnamese. Than explain to me how can be that DNA such as O2a1 and O2a are found in Cantonese, Vietnamese? Obviously the Yue tribes were ancestors of Vietnamese.

  • @owardis397 irrelevant. first, you didnt read properly. do so. west guangdong was the western valley xiou tribes. not nanyue.

second, o2a1 and o2a are not yue genetic trade marks. there is no such thing. and even if there was, its irrelevant. they were different tribes. you are a nobody to magically decide they should be the same. the nanyue were from central canton. then the western valley to the west. THEN the luo yue viet tribes.

  • @angryaznman Xiou tribes are also Yue. You have to understand that original mean of Yue was to refer to Non-Chinese from the south. It was Tang migrants mixed with Nanyue inhabitants, this is why Cantonese is close to the official language of tang (though it little yue element).

Yue are composed of many different tribes. O2a1, O2a, O1a are clearly part of the Yue genetic trade. Even if it's not's with Yue it be with vietnamese. HOWEVER..... O2a1 is FOUND only in Guangdong, Vietnam, Hainan.

  • @owardis397 part doesnt mean its a yue genetic trait. there is no such thing. yue is a loose term to describe southern barbarians. it isnt an actual group. it has no meaning.

before we continue answer me. because i think you are some viet shit pretender.

    你係咪真係香港人呀?

  • Don't give a shit about your opinion. DNA clearly shows whatever Cantonese mixed with it was the same racial stock Vietnamese was. Yue had hundreds of different tribes. These western valley and luo yue viet properly assimilated and became vietnamese and mixed with Chinese in Canton. Just because I'm not average Chinese with anti-bias opinion, it doesn't make me an Viet. Many Chinese have even accused me of being Korean just because I said Manchus are not Chinese.

    Yes, I'm Hong Konger 我是香港人....

e.g. world in japanese: sekai world in cantonese: segai ready in korean: junbi ready in cantonese: junbei see the similarities?

  • viet.

AHAHAHAHAHA joking. no one would believe that.

  • Are you mad.....chinese doesnt sound like vietnamese....and weeaboo (no offensive) doesnt just choose japanese beacuse of anime.....every language sound nice depends on the speaker :)

  • south east languages like viet sound like ducks.

  • japanese sounds cool, chinese sucks hard. With Japanese you got cool sounding names lie Akira or Hiro... if you want to call yourself "great king" in chinese, happy being "Da Wang" :))

  • @drjackal779

I agree, this Japanese name sounds so cool you can even translate :)

Hello my name is Imashike Inamoto is english for " I'm a shit head In a motor "

  • @mercuyve cantonese is chinese. do you mean mandarin for the 4th one?

  • @mercuyve thumbs down! i do agree with the number1:Japanese but i disagree when you called the other language ugly yet you put thai in your top 6. are you kidding me? tagalog should be atleast in the top 5.

  • lol ..they r kinda sme

  • every languages are the best.without it we can't communicate, or else we communicating by morse code, signal etc. learning different languages are fun... (Im iban) do anyone knows iban languages. the easiest language to learn but easily get fail when taking it in examination bcoz its getting harder(literature lol). dang.

  • Ambot ninyo mga gago! ahaha pag sure mo dara BISAYA ang pinaka ayus na language uy! Duklon tamo isa isa run kita gyud mog lugaw sa inyong mata!

    Da Beste language Bisaya

  • This is not fair!you didn't even define the word 'best'-in terms of what?coz each language has its own strength. Indonesian,Malay, and tagalog are the best for romantic songs, have you checked the songs in these three languages? For pop songs,I can't deny that Japanese, Korean, Cantonese and Thai are now conquering the market.

  • I didn't think the song you chose for Japanese does the language justice. In the certain song the language is spoken a little more 'slangish' cause of the genre of the song, it sounds tons more beautiful in reality and it def takes my vote!

    Korean sounds cool too.

  • U CAN NOT USE BIG BANG!! THAT'S BIAS! THEY SOUND GOOD!! IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE OTHER LANGUAGES! :3

  • where the hell is tagalog?

  • @jaycee3ya

    Tagalog is the Philipines.

  • @jaycee3ya indo-asians are not asians, just like arab are not asians even though middle east is part of Asia.

  • 1. Mandarin

    2. Tagalog

    3. Thai

    4. Korean

    I'm Filipino.

  • Filipino, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean.

  • Here's my vote

    1. PuTongHua/Mandarin/Zhong Guo Hua (Zhe Shi Yin Wei Wo Ai S.H.E)

    2. Filipino ( Dahil 100% Pinoy ako... haha)

    3. Vietnamese (Though I can't understand it. it sounds sweet, It's my first time to hear that language)

    :))

  • I automatically choose Korean. I'm a k-pop fan.

    HARU HARU!~~~~

  • i choose ..

    1. tagalog

    2. japanese

    3. korean

  • i choose cantonese and mandarine cuz i understand them

  • HARU HARU! :D I like the way Korean sounds the best, whether it be spoken or sung. :) Has a good rhythm and such. :)

  • if you pick the best vocal song from each countries then there is no best one, they would all rank equal.

  • Indonesia and Malaysia is the best !!

  • JAPAN!!!!

  • japanese,

  • I was about to put " ENGLISH " but then I was like " Wait.. It's not asianese.. " FAIL xDDD

  • thai is the best

  • japanese and philippine langauge seems to have a little bit similarity in terms of expressing its emotion.

  • Japanese sounds coolest. Then Korean then Chinese. Viet almost sounds Chinese anyways

  • Cutest language in this video.. Vietnamese, korean, madrarine, thai

  • Lol language for me is only a system for people to communicate no matter how elegant, how sophisticated it sounds if the person your talking to is an idiot then you won't get a good conversation and at the same time if the person your talking to is kind you will get a nice conversation.

  • @shin1300

finally someone commenting with sense here...lol

  • just vote according to your race :) hahaha

  • Korean is the best japanese sounds soft and calm so ot would be second for me

  • ao phuc loc mlor doy, vietnam awful enough

  • the thing with korean is when spoken they sound a bit like indian or really north korean like. but they try desperately to sound like they are close to some other 'nicer' sounding language but imo they fail hard. most of their words still consist of chang kang hyong woo suk byung chee chiok etx

  • tagalog or filipino..

  • tagalog is good

  • Japanese > Cantonese > the rest.

  • i don't like the fact that you're comparing oriental languages...for me, other than Spanish and French that i think are sexy languages, Oriental Asian languages are all sexy to me! sounds like a girl moaning to my ears (well, except if it's a guy talking to me)

  • Like it :

    1) Japanese

    2) Korean

    3) Vietnamese

    4) Thai

  • eventho i'm from malaysia but i also like tagalog...kita nalang tayo ulit

  • For me, i like Tagalog. It is nice to hear, relaxing!

  • the best language in asia:

    1.manglish=malay+english

    2.taglish=tagalog+english

  • Comment removed

  • @johnnydorama seriuosly thai language..well that's your opinion..but t o call it the best i'm not sure about that...when thai people talk it's like some cat language..basicllay language from the indo-china region all have the same sound lik thai...i dont know what is the best SEA language..but not thai for me..i love thai food..thai girl..but not the language

  • I'm Filipino so, i say TAGALOG !!!!! :D

  • 1.) Japanese 2.) Korean 3.) mandarin 4.) cantonese :)

but number 1 i learned from watching anime and rosetta stone :)

  • stupid. stupid stupid stupid.

    stupid.

korean, japanese and thai all use american english style - they actually sound like freaking american english.

mandarin and cantonese sound almost the same actually - the reason why they sound so different here is cause the author is a freaking imbecile.

and well i never heard any vietnamese or thai, sorry, but i'm quite sure this moron hasn't made it any better.

  • @sjalvete No you're stupid...Mandarin and Cantonese sounds nothing alike. I use to live in Hong Kong and China. Next time do some traveling before you open your mouth.

  • @dietrichian

okay i guess i have to say i'm sorry - what i meant is mandarin and cantonese sound ALMOST the same to an UNEXPERIENCED listeners (like myself). my point was all the languages in this video don't sound the way they should... something like that. i mean like each language has its notable features. like strict consonant-vowel rule of japanese or lots of aspiration and flaps in korean. why the hell would you wanna listen to asians trying to monkey american english?

  • 1. Japanese 2. Mandarin 3. Korean 4. Cantonese (the 4 I know the best).

Japanese speakers tend to be more soft-spoken and polite-sounding IMO (cultural thing).

Mandarin can sound nice if spoken by the classy, but terrible if not. Also, depends on regional accent.

    Korean is rather harsh/aggressive IMO.

Cantonese is my own language. Very harsh IMO.

But really, they all have the potential to sound nice when spoken by the right person.

  • vietnamese are like koreans on crack. The worst language is cantonese and mandarin........ you people should listen the way they talk you cant really tell if their angry or just talking.

  • Korean.. cantonese because thats my language but that song twins is the song im really hate and they sing werid in this song

  • I go with Mandarin, Japanese, Thai, and Korean. I like Mandarin Chinese more because I often study it and learn new words and grammar techniques. People look down on Mandarin Chinese, but it's just because they don't understand it, or they are all Korean-wannabes, there are many of them. Mandarin Chinese still beats all, it's the most formal East Asian language.

  • 1.Taiwanese

    2.Hakkanese

    3.Madarian

    4.japanese

  • Asia Best Language

    1.Mongolia .

    2 Korea

    3.Japan

    Southeast Asia, Best Language

    1.Thailand.

    2 Philippines

    3 Malaysia

    4.Vietnamese

  • 1.Japanese 2.Korean 3.Thai 4.Chinese 5.Vietnamese

i also have listened some song eles r not in ur choice in all those languages.

i think my top 3 r cool languages they have no ching-chong shounds

and when they speak they speak with low accent them r sound cool.

For vietnamese and chinese they r sound annoying for chinese it sound like ducks r fighting for viet it sound kinda funny language they speak with very high accent and they change r lot of tone when they speak.

  • Chinese language is really weird.

  • @johnnydorama

I think Chinese songs sound nice, but ussually not when they are talking.

  • @johnnydorama

Agree, but I must say even japanese can sound ugly when is spoken by those rough looking samurais in the movie.

  • cho cho choon ! Poon choom ! --- korean language sounds good yah?

  • it's not fair because you pick the songs of famous singers in Korea Japan, Hongkong, China mainland and Thailand but for Vietnamese singer, nobody knows who she is, she's just an ONLINE/Underground singer, and her voice too bad, I even can't recognise it is Vietnamese. lol

  • 1.mongolian 2,Korean 3 japanese 4.Indian

Thailand Vietnam Chinese sounds too weird.

  • You cannot ask people to rank languages! Just because you don't understand, you must rank right? And prolly more people will rank korean/japanese/mandarin first.

  • @MEKLAFIR Thumps up

  • I cant hear the Vietnamese song although I am Vietnamese. It seems that she sings in another language. Haha.

  • Lao!!!

  • Malay of course I hate japan korea and china I hate the ching chong hak huk he ha la ler sounds

  • 1) cantonese 2) korean 3) japanese 4) taiwanese 5) thai 6) vietnamese

  • Which Oriental language sounds the best. Asia is not freaking limited to the East of it. Get it right, you stereotypical pricks, and stop leaving out the majority of Asia. Us non-oriental Asians don't freaking appreciate it.

  • @marekiller8 Agreed. Iraq, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, etc. are all parts of Asia as well, and just as much "Asian" as the East and South East.

  • Oh uh, Shine > Twins. No, not SHINee, but Shine.

  • I think the ching-chongs, if used correctly is really empowering. My favs (by the songs in this video): Mandarin, Canto, Thai, Korean, Jap, Viet.

  • 1. thai, 2, japanese, 3. cantonese, 4, korean, 5. taiwanese mandarine.

  • i speak Japanese so the lyrics sound quite cheesy sometimes XP but i like all of them.

it's the first time i've heard Vietnamese and it actually sounds really good OuO

  • Im Mexican and i like K-POP so its Korean all day :D FIGHTING!!!!!!!! I love korean language

  • I like all of them

  • to me korean sound rude

  • Wow. The Mandarin song wasn't shitty as I'd think. IMO Mandarin and other chinese languages suck. The whole tonal thing annoys me with the music.

Naturally I'll go Japanese and Korean. It will take me a while to get used to mandarin sounds.

  • @Warsie

I usually prefer Canto over Mandarin because Canto is nice and strong.

  • Baby language.
