@galactictank its both, its a massive mall with a marine zoo and a stage and a giant theatre, plus a copy of the santa maria in a giant ocean spot filled with water where submarine rides used to go around to see sharks and dolphiins

I know fire fighters who had to pull the dead bodys out of that coaster when it crashed... so I really don't think i'll be going on this at all. And besides I heard it isn't fun at all, it just cramps up your neck.

Yeahhh but that happened in 1986 (three people died!), since then they've redesigned the trains/carts, so they're a whole lot safer now!

@ToAdmire The accident was caused because the staff didn't follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions. It didn't help that the manufacturer was German and Galaxyland never bothered to have the instructions translated!

yeah....my grampa went on it 3 days before it crashed........probs wont happen again though they do maintenence and checks every few hours

@quibbib No it didn't. Even if the lapbar did come undone, riders would stay firmly in the car, purely because of the G-force.

I went there yesterday i live about 25 mins away! anyways Im a girl and a couple of my friends who were girls came with me and a lot of guys which were my friends too they wanted me to go on the mindbender with them!!

they practically dragged me to the line up but when i got there i was to short! :)

NO not the first 3, and not decapitated, I live in Edmonton so I should know that after a few months, the mindbender was going around the second loop and something came off, then on the third loop, it couldn't make it all the way upp so if came back down, derailed and hit a cement pillar which killed 3 people and one is paralized from waist down.
