Rustee is a beautiful dog! This video proves that dogs can enjoy things besides hunting and killing. The comments by GMCman333 and threatcom prove that those that use their dogs ONLY to hunt and kill have lower IQs than most people. Perhaps they should have been shot and left to take dirt naps at an early age. At least the world would have two fewer idiots.
I have a redbone named Rusty and this dog definitely has the same sense of "I'll fetch it, but then we'll see if I feel like making you chase me or not in order to get it back!"
there are tons of redbones and other coonhounds on the east coast. why buy one? you can find puppies and adults in shelters which are a lot cheaper. they are only there because of idiots over breeding them or abandoning them after they don't use them to hunt anymore.
@lexy4719 Wrong.. lol. A hunting dog and a pet dog are two different dogs. Sure the breed may be the same, but the mentality is 1000% different. My coonhounds could care less if you pet them or throw a stick.. They want three thngs.. To hunt, tree coon, and kill them... Those shelter dogs are from pet breeders and city people trying to make pets out of hunting dogs.. Coonhunters dogs don't get abandoned, If that dog doesn't hunt, he takes a dirt nap in the woods..
@threatcom i agree with u we got treeing walker hounds we hunt deer with they dont care if we pet them are talk nice to them the only time they get excited over is getting turned out to jump a deer see us ride up after they ran a deer and they sore from running or we feeding them. they do what they want me shoot them i believe its better than leaving them somewhere buts thats my opionon. i have no room for a shit eater in my pack! im sure coon hunters are the same way, but u can raise them as pe

Don't know what I did wrong but my Redbone hates the water. When the kids are in the pool she a big nervous nelly runnin round and round like a nut. Rusty looks like a real nice doggie. I'll bet he'll protect those kid of yours.
