GBB pistols don't have much of a firing mech other than a hammer hitting the valve on the back of a magazine. The description doesn't state that this was a video meant to show the firing mechanism of the pistol just that it was an #D animation.

the gas blowback happens when in a certain part of the barrel, the gas used to fire the ball/bullet is channeled back to a chamber where it pulls back a cilinder and makes the blowback happen, but this is not the only mechanism possible

Great animation, but this is a RECOIL operated pistol, specifically a Browning pattern 1911. Every written text will refer to it as recoil operated, not gas. An example of a gas p[erated PISTOL would be the Desert Eagle in .44 mag or .50 AE caliber, where the action doesnt depend on the reward impulse of the round being fired (recoil) but instead uses gas syphoned off from near the end of the barrel to act upon a piston inside a cylender to unlock the action and move the slide to the rear.

This is an Airsoft pistol and as such the information I provided is correct. It IS operated by Gas (either HFC22 or HFC134a). It can be seen in the animation that 3 BBs are loaded into the magazine which should make it clear that this animation represents an Airsoft pistol NOT capable of firing live ammunition. The gas is stored in the magazine, and upon trigger pull is released to provide propellant for the BB and also for the recoil action.
