I made one out of a gallon ice cream tub, a zumiez bag, a cut up CD spindle for the handle, and braided rubber bands.

I should have used twice as many rubber bands. All it makes it a gentle breeze.

Well, get some surgical tubing and drill holes in the sides, tie it in there real good. Or use sch. 80 pipe and propane... Might be illegal in some countries.

Yeah, but a very fast ring that leaves a trail of smoke behind it, so more of a smoke beam... I guess to get a good ring you need a more gentle push.
