Carl Palmer is CLEANER and FASTER than them all.....just admit it already folks. Peart is a close second, Bonham third, Moonie fourth. Moon's personality while drumming blew them all away. He had a passion like none of the rest.

@MickeyLove01 Dude,as much as I love Peter Criss myself,and I was a huge KISS fan back in the day of the original lineup,nobody can touch Keith Moon.Not even Peter Criss.Peter is one of my alltime fav drummers,but Moon had a style that nobody could emulate at all.I can't even play like him and I've been playing drums for nearly 40 years.Moon was in a class by himself.

I remember watching a documentary on this. After the solo, pet lovers around the country were furious with the fact Moon placed the fish in a drum and then also commented that "even the best drummers get hungry". Moons comment and reaction when asked by a news reporter was simply "Well, the fish fucking love rock & roll". Sweet.

dude i think keith moons drumming is a style nobody can recreate. he is my inspiration. keith moon is the best. the best who collection and every who fan needs to own and if you dont your not a who fan. it is called 30 years of maximum r&b. if you dont buy it or own it already. dont call yourself a huge fan if you dont own a who box set. or the one i just said.

Keith Moon's style can't be recreated because he didn't have a set style, he really just whaled on the drums randomly and they sounded DAMN GOOD! His rhythm and ability to stay on beat is insane considering how he is drumming... My favorite drummer of all time followed by Bonham, Pert and McBrain
