However, I am wondering if this isn't just a trick that just changes the settings of time line, but in reality time line is still there. try to change back to IE7 you will see that timeline is not permanently removed, giving fb to still monitor your action giving them reasons to push their advts on your wall as well. let me know what you think. btw i am pretty sure fb knows about this right now that they probably developed other featured software for this.

It works, but one problem, When I go back on to Google Chrome it still has the timeline and every time I set up Firefox it would only work if I've got it on IE7. Doest this mean everyone else can see me with the timeline and is there anyway of fixing it?

@807gamer Everyone else sees your profile as the timeline unless they also use the facebook timeline removal trick. there is currently no way of opting out officially of the timeline and there most likely will never be a permanent solution.

@DaviiddN : It works, dear. When you restart firefox. You just have to go to the tools menu. Down there you see Internet explorer. keep mouse over there and sub menu will appear. Just choose Internet explorer 7 and you're done. I hope it helps. Cheers!
