obviously, like most of you, I heard this first time on the Pokemon Movie. That movie was the best piece of film to ever be released on a big screen, seriously. It was the first film to make me cry, and it is the only one ever to make me cry every time i watch it. Pokemon was a staple for our generation, and this has gotta be one of the biggest songs comemorating that. Amazing song in its own right, but when backed behind a pokemon fight to the death, suddenly the most emotional thing ever.

Kids these days don't know what they missed out on here. Pokemon was the epitome of childhood, I can't look back at my childhood without thinking of a Saturday morning watching a brand new episode of Pokemon.

The movies were brilliant too. I can't help but feel this new generation of children has ruined the image of Pokemon, with these brand new weird looking things. It wasn't the battling which was the point, it was the journey. :)

I miss the fact there were only 151 pokemon and i could name them all by name type evolution and number.... I just feel ashamed of the newest generations of pokemon... Yet it was the series that defined my childhood. And still now at my 20s love the old style version of it.
