What a perfect evening it must have been that evening in Dubrovnik in 2005. Wish I could have been there! I marked this video as "Incredible". Why? Don't ask me, but probably for its combination of finesse and exuberance.

Nice interpretation of the Trout. I've always wondered how this piece would be received if it was in 4 movements as opposed to 5. To me the end of the 4th movement is a perfect ending to the piece. Nonetheless it's gorgeous music.

Tempo is a bit frantic for my tastes. I think the whimsical character of the movement suffers. It is very difficult to play slowly :)

WOW ... this is one of the best performances I have heard of the Trout. That pianist definitely has a future! What happened to the 'cello and bass in the repeat (or the da capo -- don't have the music in front of me presently)? Oh well; haven't we all at some point in our performance career!
