The concept behind this competition is pretty cool. unit ai in engagements is terrible in most rts games. however, this is quite symmetric and seems to be just about packing your units as closely together as possible in a single line. In this single line skirmish, Singapore's densely packed troops often fired 2x more than UBC's looser troops. This compactness strat is used in rts games (eg stacking mutas), but restricted terrain or addition of splash damage units might favor someone else.
