I'm sorry that happened to you my friend - but glad to see it's now been resolved.

I know how you felt though - this happened to me once on my old channel. I reported it to YouTube & it was quickly removed from the other person's channel. I think what helped me was that I put my username on my vids - like at the beginning and/or end. As long as you have solid proof the vid is your original work - YT will respond. Well - at least they did with me.

@mdragon1801 I had done that for a while, but got bored to adding my username every time I uploaded a video. Though Youtube know they are original because the chose me to monetize.

Plus my upload date would be an older date compared to the stolen video so thats another way of known that its my video :D

i'm glad the removed it for me before Youtube took it down. I had been told that it can take 24 hours for a stolen video to be taken down.

I get these calls all the time and I started getting them after I used one of Dell's 3rd party support vendors. Sometimes they call 3-4 times a day. They have an elaborate scheme for covering up the source phone number. Sometimes they can be very combative. Once in a while I pick up and tell them different stories like I work for the office of the President. Last time I told them I don't have a computer. Mostly I just hit "ignore."

Good for you, seems they dont know what the copyright notice in your description means, i scan regular to hunt out those who steal my content, to date i've had 9 videos pulled H&R

@Nilsy1975 The music on the video is non copyrighted, but I reported the video as being copyrighted. So YoutUbe will take the stolen video down because I own the video its self.

it gave me choses of eater the audio has been copyrighted or if the video has been copyrighted. So I ticked the Video has been copyrighted option :D
