Yeah, I hear a lot of other men trying to re-do his songs and they think that they are tricking everyone into believing that they can reach those high powerful notes the way that David does. Actually what they're doing is reaching those notes in a FAKE FALSETTO!!! I have yet to hear any other man reach these notes as powerfully as David Phelps does.

I've been a huge fan of David since I heard End of the Beginning YEARS ago and there are few that can match his talent, his heart and his honesty in his music. Everytime i hear him sing "It is Well" I get goosebumps and just think, THAT is a true surrender to our Saviour. His Passion for God is evident in his music and his voice. I wanna have that passion. David Phelps is without a doubt my absolute favourite singer. I've recently gotten into cycling, and I pretty much listen to exclusively David. I was well aware he could hit all those notes, but I'd never seen a lot of those clips, so thanks ReagleRob777! It's too bad the O Holy Night CD one got removed, that's got a couple of my favourites, including One Wintry Night.

its weird, after u have training with head (not falsetto) voice and mixing it with chest, its hard to hit falsetto that high, its MUCH easier to do head voice or mixed.

I have to agree with you. David Phelps is the best singer I have ever heard. His ability to sing high with such power is absolutely amazing. Of course there are other great singers no doubt. But he is definitely my favorite. I have never heard anyone quite like him. Such a God given talent!
