Why is it that religious songs get more hate and cause more controversy than any other songs? I truly believe it is because, no mater how many years or generations pass, no matter how much society desensitizes us, we were made in Gods image and he lives in us. Deep inside every one of us we know that he exists, we can feel his presence and he is so magnificent, so powerful that it frightens people who want to deny that there could be such an amazing creator.

Did you know in the kissing scene, Kirk Cameron would not kiss the actress in the movie. His wife came in and did the scene in place of the actress. That is why it is just a dark profile so you cannot tell its not the same girl playing the part. He said his beliefs won't allow him to kiss another woman.

Ask Him to help you to have faith that He has forgiven you. He will. He will give you the guidance that you need, be patient and wait for HIS timing. Read Psalm 27:14. :)

Fireproof is SUCH a fantastic movie! I loved it the moment i saw it. I pray that millions will see it and learn all that it has to offer! The things it talks about can be applied to not only marriages, but friendships, father-daughter relationships; all kinds of relationships.

Its amazing how GOD has a tendancy that when you least expect it HE brings just what He has ordered into ones life. I watched this movie today. I have been turning to God over the past couple of weeks going my own pace to walk along side of him after many years of feeling lost. The movie showed me that there are things within myself that I want to change. I love my husband so deeply and at times we argue but I want to prevent all the heartache that this couple went thru so I vowed to myself that Im going to change and do this 40 day program. I have been in your shoes, bro. My wife asked me for a divorce 3 years ago. God shook my life up & drew me closer than I have EVER been! I saw Fireproof, bought "The Love Dare" book, & worked through it. Sadly, a week after she watched the Fireproof movie with a couple of girlfriends, she filed divorce papers, and we have now been divorced for over 2 years. It has been really hard for my 5 children, but God truly has worked peace, life and wholeness out of the ashes. Seek Him!
The dare I wish to give her is to prove GOD is 1st in her life and reconcile. Or prove me wrong with scripture. She can refuse GODS WILL all she wants.. And HE WILL harden her heart even more as HE did with Pharoh against Moses... Either way He will get through to her, and this is my faith in GOD. Its up to her She can make it easy or hard. All I really need to do at this point is wait for GOD to finish HIS work in her. Funny all this is because she misunderstood and has harmed herself even more

Thanks for the suggestion (tessibbotson23) this is what I am up against.. She is a very unforgiving person who is greatly influenced by her family and they have lied to her and compared me to her first husband constantly, he never changed his ways so GOD gave her to me. I have tried to open communications but she harbors anger and hatred towards me for standing my ground rightly. She claims GOD is 1st in her life on all her sites (cathypoet) catherine ivy, but she refuses to do the right thing.

I watched this movie today. I have been turning to God over the past couple of weeks going my own pace to walk along side of him after many years of feeling lost. The movie showed me that there are things within myself that I want to change. I love my husband so deeply and at times we argue but I want to prevent all the heartache that this couple went thru so I vowed to myself that Im going to change and do this 40 day program. @swhtng1 This is way Cool, GOD is awesome, within hours after I posted the dare I wished, She resisted and GOD hardened her heart even more and she is trying to hide behind mans law, and made threats, she is scared, and GOD said to me. You have done what I asked, now HE will take it from here and finish breaking her down, and HE wants me to wait and do more work on myself, study His word, I have learned when you ask HIM and not tell HIM, HE goes into action. I have been in your shoes, bro. My wife asked me for a divorce 3 years ago. God shook my life up & drew me closer than I have EVER been! I saw Fireproof, bought "The Love Dare" book, & worked through it. Sadly, a week after she watched the Fireproof movie with a couple of girlfriends, she filed divorce papers, and we have now been divorced for over 2 years. It has been really hard for my 5 children, but God truly has worked peace, life and wholeness out of the ashes. Seek Him!

The dare I wish to give her is to prove GOD is 1st in her life and reconcile. Or prove me wrong with scripture. She can refuse GODS WILL all she wants.. And HE WILL harden her heart even more as HE did with Pharoh against Moses... Either way He will get through to her, and this is my faith in GOD. Its up to her She can make it easy or hard. All I really need to do at this point is wait for GOD to finish HIS work in her. Funny all this is because she misunderstood and has harmed herself even more

Thanks for the suggestion (tessibbotson23) this is what I am up against.. She is a very unforgiving person who is greatly influenced by her family and they have lied to her and compared me to her first husband constantly, he never changed his ways so GOD gave her to me. I have tried to open communications but she harbors anger and hatred towards me for standing my ground rightly. She claims GOD is 1st in her life on all her sites (cathypoet) catherine ivy, but she refuses to do the right thing.

I love this song and a few others a lot and loved the movie, even bought the movie when I saw it at Best Buy for sale. It was the last copy or only copy they had at Best Buy. This movie really changed my life a lot too like so many other people!

Funny thing is a week and a half ago GOD gave me a message for her and said send it so I did. then last Sunday HE gave the exact same message in church with a much deeper meaning and said send it again. I did but, she has not responded He wants us to reconcile. So while I wait I am surrendering my life to GOD in Baptism this Sunday. And whats stranger still It also Is my Dads Birthday and also the 8th anniversery at my JOB. If anyone else sees the connection, then please pray for us. GOD BLESS!

A few Years ago my now ex-wife and I watched this movie, and she said she wished she had this kind of love in her life.Truth is she did and still does. I made many of the same mistakes as this man, but she gave up and even called me wicked and evil. since GOD has turned me into the man she thought I was and had married. but she does not wish to reconcile and I wish she would. check her out she has a song called some how by cathypoet its about the strongest love two people can share.

I have been with my ex boyfriend for 2 and half years now. This song reminds me of him and I. Well actually this whole movie reminds me of him and I. I see myself exactly like the woman on this movie and he is exaclty like the guy on the movie with the issues the guy has. I still hope and pray that he is the man for me. I love him dearly he does have something special that I love. I want God to work in this friendship that I have with him right now. I pray that God changes him for the best.

My relationship had to end after 9 years, when he decided he couldn't go further with a woman who loved God. A lot of pain, hurt. But God was really there in all these emotions. God showed me which way I had to go. Now after almost 4 years I really hope God is going to give me a husband who has got God on the first place...Sometimes hard to wait, but I have to trust God in all this....!!!
