I bought this DVD a couple weeks ago and I've been watching it ever since. I especially love this song for being so fun and upbeat! The little dude dressed in white makes me laugh... he's hilarious. Did cambodia ever have slavery cause this music seems like it has a touch of african in it. its hard explain but some of the intruments and chords sounded black lol

The sound originally Khmer...but different part of territories. This style of music is unique belong to the Upper Khmer you would find in Northeastern Thailand (used to be Cambodian land before Thai took over). Part of the remaining Cambodia still play this type of music...from Siem Reap Province to Battambang. Great question.

I went to cambodia in april of this year to get married to a khmer woman and this song was played at the wedding all the time.. it brings back so many memories.. and no i did not marry my wife because of sex:) as a matter of a fact she is still a virgin..
