Interesting overview of an extremely complex case. They don't mention Cheri Jo Bates or Donna Lass. I lived through this period of the 60's and 70's in the Bay Area. I wonder if the whole sense of media craziness as the 70's wore on with Patty Hearst and the SLA, then Jim Jones, then Dan White, basically put off the Zodiac so he lost interest in being the center of attention.
I've always thought that the Zodiac was wealthy, well-educated, and part of the elite. He retired without a scratch.
