...so after that you can do Renkan Tai (toward, toward, K, K) and then Tetsuzankou (Back, toward, toward, P+K) before they hit the ground. 5 hits and a fuckload of damage. A lot more than Giant Swing (the most powerful move in the game).

I know it's a bit late but in case anyone else cares, you can beat the game easily with Jacky. Back+P, K cancels the first back knuckle's dead time (it was a kick in the original version, in this Jacky reverts to standing position, cancelling dead time) so you can combo anything after it. Like another Back+P. So basically we have an infinite combo: Back+P, K, Back+P, K, Back+P etc...

Also Akira has something similar, after the second part of Stun Palm Of Doom, pressing K cancels the dead time...

Eh, this game really sucks. The Genesis had FAR better games than this. The sound is ear-grating, the animations non-existant, the moves hard to pull off, lack of variety - the list goes on and on. The Mortal Kombat games on the same machine worked much better, much as it pains me to say it.

may I recommend, play the PS2 version. That version was made by Sega Ages and it's the closet to the Arcade.

Sega blew it with VF2 for Genesis, they should have launched the sequel on 32X.

First of all, your voice audio is totally distorted. Try moving back from the microphone a foot or so. Also, for someone who claims to hate this game so much, you played the game for nearly 10 minutes on camera. How do you expect a Genesis without the 32x adapter to handle 3-D graphics? You shouldn't. Please handle the audio better.

The characters move real slow and when u get knocked down it take like 3 to 5 seconds for them to get up. I dont like the sega genesis collection cuZ most of the games suck. the only game i liked the most was "comix"

This Genesis/Megadrive port was indeed godawful. It completely slaughtered everything about it; the graphics, the gameplay, even the characters. Which is strange because the Megadrive handled the Mortal Kombat games alright, why not build on that engine if you're doing a 2-d port anyway?

Try more moves with Jacky, and play as Akira and Kage, they got some good juggle moves. I have no problems with the game I beat it all the time. It's fun.
