Same here, except for the fact that mine are no longer puppies; they are 11 and 12. We also have a babygate blocking our basement because there is so much stuff that beagles like getting into down there.

Over their lives these two have been responsible for initiating changes in flooring, a new fridge (the seal on the old one was weak), and new cupboards (that are more difficult to get into.
