where did you get those side moldings? (not '89 stock) been looking for that kind forever...sure would look good on my '91...please help a brotha out !!!!
I pulled off the old giant molding, filled in the holes with bondo, painted it, then went to an auto parts store and bought some thin molding with 3M auto tape attached that fit exactly in the indention but stuck out enough to work.
Just measure the space in the indentation gap (I think 3/16"), go to the parts store and you will find the molding. It's been a few years so I don't have the specifics.
I paid about $14.95 each for two packages and had enough to do both sides.
The side bumper strips are the same color as my car, I did not want to break up the monochrome look with black strips. I also painted the grille the same color as the car.
