What is different about Six Flags during Fright Fest? Do they have more rides, or new areas?

They have people dressed as monsters that can wodner around the park and scare whomever they please and they can follow you almost anywhere and they decorate evry thing scary and haveamazing shows like the AWAKEning and Dead Man's oarty I prefer Great Adventure becuz I live only 5 min away from it so u can imagine how much I go.

I live right next to the park so I pretty much went every weekend while last years fright fest was going on. One night I saw this clown with a knife chase this one kid down, he was jumping over benches & all lol. I never knew they got that enthusiastic, usually they just walk around with their head down.

Lake Compounce is better, but if you want some fun stuff come to Dark Manor Haunted House instead. We know how to scare. ;]

@silvercrew1 check out past fright fests at Great Adventure ours is the main park 4 the company so we get most money funded towards the fright fest shows the only problem I had with ours this year is that they needed more ghosts and better costumes but the shows are excellent such as the A-Wakening and stuff but there is one show called Ghoulmaster's ghosts which is not on youtube except for the show of it last year, that was okay but compared to the 1 this year it sucks, I will upload 2010 soon

The only time I ever remember really being scared out of my wits at this park was about 9years ago with a ride called Brutal Planet, but I doubt if anyone remembers that far back into the SF years. Recently I give them a thunbs up for most of the haunt areas, but Area 51 is getting old!

Not that I know of but I think that would be pretty fun. But I don't think Six Flags would do that, plus they are not allowed to leave the scare areas

It happened to me at Six Flags America. I was with two friends and they sat in the seat infront of me. Then someone dressed as Michael Myers sat right beside me. Hahaha.

I Went To The One Great Adventure It was really good the people were great at scaring to and the rides were the best at night (Nitro at night owns) Soo Yea Nice no Great Video :D

their was a problem with the chain, the park found hairline fractures and didnt think it was 100% safe to ride. it'll be open opening day though next year bc their getting a new chain

Ya it's pretty fun, but if you didn't know already, Superman's closed and the lines are huge, so I would suggest just going to have fun, don't expect A LOT of riding, it's still awesome though!

Yeah, I figured. As long as I get to try Pandemonium. I hear it's a love it or hate it ride, but luckily i typically love rides like that :P Also can't wait for the new Dark Knight ride!

Yeah they do! The parks around here have been getting outdated. Especially Canobie Lake, they need a new coaster desperately. Tear down the "mall" or something. A dark ride would be awesome!

Ya I know, I wish they would scare through out the park, and I wish the Wicked Woods and the Midnight Mansion were scarier but it was till really fun because if they weren't scary than they were funny.

it was so fun! the wicked woods and midnight mansion were really fun, but i didnt remember this from last year but you had to pay for them, it was either 5$ single admission or a combo for 8$ for both, it wasnt bad though
