  • awesome video......very useful tips......thnks a lot :)

  • Thanks

  • God bless you thankyou

  • I did shorthand in college, but didnt keep it up so I can write pretty fast. Current students might find a good exercise before beginning your courses is to watch show on tv and take notes on it like you would a lecture. This prepares you for speedy speech and preciseing as you go.

  • your like me, you like taking notes on your laptop so my question is, what programs should i use for pc for note taking, im using notezilla right now and the trial keeps ending for it, do you have a good note program?

  • were u on the amazing race this season??

  • Question: how can you write your selective notes while your professor is babbling away?

i think i tend to panic when im noting and i can still hear the teacher talking.

  • How do I speak with the professor now cause I have questions

  • For tip #5 I can disagree upon. What happens if you can't comprehend and the professor is lecturing at 100mph (they won't slow down)? Comprehending some things may take longer than a few seconds. I suggest writing notes down and looking it over a couple of times after the lecture. Usually, I'd get a good feel of what my professor was saying. Because if you don't comprehend in time, you will miss valuable notes. And then you're left with nada.

  • you can also watch my video on how to organize notes... its pretty lengthy but its helped me!

  • I'm so using your video in my power point presentation!

  • @Italianice gotta ask him permission silly ;)

  • Me with me had Twinkies.

  • thanks, guy. your video helps me a lot, well, my presentation_notetaking

  • good video

  • Connor, thanks for your "short and sweet" video with 5 note-taking tips. You should re-record this in high-quality, as it currently appears blurry/pixillated in full-screen mode. This is a great video for students!

  • I agree this

"This is a great video for students! "

  • Why just Korean high school students lol?

  • even if i am using a note book i end up sketching in bordom sooo... lap top note book same difference!

  • I teach a freshman seminar course at a small, private university. I came to youtube to look for a video that could present a very boring subject (note taking) in a brief and entertaining manner. I believe your video is value-laden because you are young like the students, and you've managed to summarize the most important aspects of notetaking. What a great video entrance ... thanks so much!

  • I've taught courses on note taking and although I could critique this and make suggestions, I'd say on balance you did a fine job. You'd enjoy reading anything by Tony Buzan (an English psychologist who specializes in learning).

  • Great video, I'm still in highschool, grade 9 to be exact. Hope this will be helpful for me in the future. :)

  • Good presentation and outline. Can you give an example on Tip 3: Put Ideas in Your Own Words. I am one of those people who find notetaking very very stressful. I find myself actually trying to write down everything that the professors were saying.

  • Thank you so much, sir. I'm sure that these tips will work for me. It's my 2nd year in college, so I generally know what's going on around my education. I sometimes take notes from lectures, but all the time, and I really don't like doing it because I'm not good at it. I do take notes from my textbooks and from the board sometimes. It can be helpful to take your own notes; it depends how good of a student you are.

  • Thank you so much. i start college next week and i was worried about the notetaking part of it. Thanx for the tips.Very Useful!
