Obama is incredible. He has such discipline in studying proposals on such a broad range of issues. From the video I can tell that he has a brilliant mind and is able to actively listen to someone and then speak to the often numerous points that have been made.

Obama is incredible. He has such discipline in studying proposals on such a broad range of issues. From the video I can tell that he has a brilliant mind and is able to actively listen to someone and then speak to the often numerous points that have been made.
It is a very refreshing contrast to our former president. I am proud to have an engaged scholar as our president, and I sincerely hope that he sets the standard for our future presidents (both Republican & Democrat).

It shifts the tax burden, designates some as "more equal" than others, manipulates media, denies some rights, and relinquishes other rights. These things have been happening incrementally for decades, but Obama and our Democratic Party have expanded on it greatly.

What kind of question would you prefer the president answer? Most of the questions that were asked criticized the president, and none of his answers needed a rebuttal. This is not supposed to be a debate. He even took responsibility for some of the problems the republicans pointed out and he told them he would work on fixing them.

I'll tell you just how it went down, The republicans were told to get their questions to the white house staff. Were Obama and his advisers went went through and edited & rejected questions. Then they were given back the one's the White House would allow and a brief on how the meeting would be conducted! Over the next 10 years it's expected to borrow a total of $8.5 trillion. And the government was already deeply in debt to begin with.
These figures are enormous. And they are expected stay big well down the road. The Obama administration forecasts deficits of $1 trillion in 2020.

Look at the stock market which is now up to 10,000. Look at the GDP which has gone from SHRINKING by more than 5% a year to GROWING by more than 5% a year.

The 50's were our peak as a nation. The U.S. had low unemployment, low taxes, low strangling government regulations, low inflation, low interest rates, low crime, relative peace, one parent could stay home and raise the kids, low government deficits, low government national debt, low personal debt, high home ownership, an education system that educated, more integrity and morality. We had much lower regulations on personal lives and businesses. We were kinder. Now compare the 50' to today! JOKE
