How to get FREE Ipod touch apps without a computer!!

does this only work with the new ipods (ipod 2G) if it works with the old ipod, how do i get cydia. my old iTouch is jailbroken... does that help...

o.k... thanks. also, lately my installer wont let me download anything. it will say downloading but not cleaning up then installer will just close. any ideas on how to fix this. one more thing... if i updade from 1.1.4 to 2.2.1, will i lose my videos/music/photos/other apps previously installed through installer
