It's a shame how so many people have such a misinterpreted image of Colombia...constantly I face derogatory comments of drugs, kidnapping and poverty when I say I'm from Colombia. They make out as if it's the last place on earth they'd like to set foot in. Luckily that's changing and some people are realizing that it;s in fact one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thank you to wordtravels for showcasing the positive side of my country. I love Colombia & miss her evey day!
