ah ok I see now, somehow on the left side the person looked like they were standing up and the board was vertical (some combo of the hand and shadow) but now can see from the person on the right that this was a shot from a camera looking down. I just wasn't visually connecting with the view.
We tried to make the surface as level as possible. It's a white board laid on a foot locker in a pick up bed. It did have a tilt toward that rail. That's why it appears to climb. But really, the odd angle, having to shade it with my knee to stop it, made it look like it was climbing more than it was.
The reason we were in the pick up bed, was because if the wind would blow directly on it, it tended to slide right off the white board, otherwise.
It is the head off an Oral B CrossAction tooth brush, a small solar cell, and a pager motor. That's it, the whole thing stuck together with a piece of double sided sticky tape.

No, just that the tooth brush head motor and solar cell are all stuck together by the doublesided tape. The tape is clear.
