I use something called replay music 3 it lets you record live audio from any source playing. so basically set replay music recording then hit play on this video and it will record it straight to an mp3 file.

@twinmusic Yeah, Godrich is the one who put together From the Basement. He does amazing work; the best as far as I'm concerned. I'm guessing it's a Neumann U87 probably going through a Neve preamp. That would be consistent with Godrich's style. The sound here is so beautiful. I saved it on my computer and listen to it a lot. Wish I could just get a good copy of an MP3 @ 320 kbps.

a "Section 8" is a term for a type of discharge from the military for being a few bricks shy of a load. maybe it's an elegy for some of the damage that's been done since 2003.
