Also "Desire" was all about sex and money, the video certainly gave that message away too. U2 are as much about superficial fun as they are about anything earnest or deep or holy, as I think anyone who knows their music well would probably agree.
OMG this quote from the presenter: "U2 in Las Vegas? 20 years ago when these boys were starting out that phrase would have appalled them". Um . . . I think this presenter is perhaps not a real U2 fan? If he had really been following their career (or had done even a jot of research) he would know that in the late eighties their video for 'Still Can't Find What I'm Looking For" was SET IN LAS VEGAS with Bono happily dancing outside and enjoying the view.
I just uncovered my VHS recording of this, but I have no working VCR. Thank you so much for the upload!

I still have this on vhs tape somewhere.
I thought Dennis' voiceover work was a tad bit over the top for this. I wish it wasn't so campy in a way.
Still great to see though.

It's Dennis Hopper that was the narrator and he;s apparently close friends with band, that's why he did this..

So why the silly quote?

@FriedEggsandChips he said 20 years right? So he was talking about late 70's. It was done in 1997.
