This is an idea that's time has come and makes perfect sense. It puts people to work, it help the consumer, it reduces unnecessary energy waste, reduces our dependence of foreign oil. It's hard not to find something to like unless you are just looking to bash Obama.
More money here in the old USA means consumers will have money to spend on lots of other things besides energy. That sounds to me like a long-term benefit,not a short-term fix.

How about JUST CUT taxes, Quit spending money, and DOWN-size lay off some Federal employees, have congress/senate meet three times a year in Washington, and have our REPS> STAY in their own States communicating with their constituents instead of EACH OTHER ...That would SAVE EVERYONE some energy costs ...PU-LEAZ!
