I have a question about wii...? I have resident evil 4 wii edition and I see a blur image even though it is with component cables, so I was wondering if I get VDW3 or some other upscaler would the image look any better?

Hey everyone, I beat this game 3 times on the gamecube years ago, and now I started playing it again but playing this version on Dolphin (which plays beautifully on my PC) but I have an issue.

When I enable ANY gecko codes (the AR equivalent for Wii games) and try to go through a door the game just shows up a black screen.

Sound is still there and the emulator doesn't get locked up or anything but just a black screen and controls don't respond at all...

I made a savestate...

@MoonOvIce ...and then loaded it without any codes enabled but I wasn't able to go through the door after you kill all the villagers in the village (the first time you get the shotgun).

RE4 PC is a perfect example of a sloppy port. Terrible control, low res textures. If you can play it on the Wii, I'd take that one.

As a PC gamer, I very rarely recommend a console version of a game over PC. This is one of the few games I will.

@nosound98 i heard something the aiming system for the re 4 was annoying if it  was out of range of something, and better aiming? wii and the mouse have same aiming lol.

@nosound98 actually... if you get the hack for to use mouse then you could use it... but then again.. i would just use a controller because its easier than playing "WoW style"

@Yamaneko81: Plus the PC version had worse lighting though there were a lot of texture hacks that made all the other graphics better.

Wii version has all the bonuses the PS2 version has. The Gamecube was the straight original. Wii version can also use GC controller.
