A few years back, my nephew was watching me play a C64 game and said: 'not bad graphics for 256 colours!' when I told him it was 16 colours he nearly fell off his chair - he was 16 at the time! :)
The 2nd game shown is the excellent Midnight Resistance. Probably one of the best conversions and one of my best games on the 64. Kind regards. Gavin.
Great vid. Some good games there. The framerate seems nice and steady too. How did you capture it? Did you do some kind of framerate conversion prior to uploading?
I captured the footage using a standard usb capture card. I added the music later using ulead video studio 6 and converted it to an mpg file for upload. I,m glad you like it. I think my second attempt is slightly better though, check out my other videos. C64 rules!
I'm glad you enjoy it. The music is a remix of the loader music used on many of the Ocean games by Martin Galway. Hypersports, now there's a classic. I received many an aching wrist from that one. No pun intended.
my favourite ocean loader was the one that came on the more later games such as CHASE HQ and RAINBOW ISLANDS i know which ocean loader you have remixed i still posess a 1990's c64 but i want a brownbread one again (original) because it has better sid capabilities
I love the keygen feel to it :)

Thanks for the info. Your 2nd vid is excellent too. Good ol' c64. (Wipes tear of nostalgia from eye.)

Great job. That brought back a few memories, I been tying to remember what game the the music came from. Was it "Hyper Sports"?
