I didn't think it was that bad of a show, more than likely he got thrown to the wolves and doomed to fail. I used to listen every morning and there is one episode that I am looking for where he opened the phone lines to the public and most everyone wanted to talk about old VH stuff.

Actually LISTEN to what he said and you'll see he's right. Too many dumbasses get out there doing things they are in no way, shape or form qualified to do, but they see it on tv and think "Yeah, I can do that!" They just end up being a burden on others when it's time to rescue them from their own stupidity.

I can still remember when stern jokingly did a david lee roth start to his show whenever the talks were out there about dlr replacing him.

It was hilarious and probably better then any of daves actual shows.

DLR was alright when nothing else was on but my god they thought he'd go up against the king of all media?

Dave is a GREAT guest and a TERRIBLE host.

The music and the guitarist made the show sound really stupid.

I am aware of Dave's STAGE presence. But that doesn't mean anything when it comes to radio.

Don't get me wrong Brian Young is a GREAT guitarist. I just thought it was a little too gimmicky.
