The Guitar Hero instruments aren't that durable. When my friend got World Tour for Xmas I went round on boxing day and tried out the drum kit. We stopped the game after an hour and just played on the instruments in time to some System Of A Down songs and I just drummed along as hard and fast as I could. The folowing day my friend told me the sensor on the snare had gone. Shortly after getting a replacement drum kit the new drum pedal died. I've also managed to knacker two guitar plectrum bits.

Guitar Hero's drum set is freaking horrible. It breaks after the first 10 sessions with it... and the sensitivity is whacked... and the tracks are just wrong -.- Rock band 2 feels more like a real acoustic drum set to me (yeah, I'm a real drummer...) but guitar hero's DOES feel like an electronic one.. yet that's just not comfortable =\ Rock Band > Guitar hero x.x

i dont know what everyone's complaining about. i have had the drums for about 4 months now and othing wrong. exept the yellow pad which keeps on going down. literaly, wen move it up and dow t feels like its broken so turned it clockwise an it somehow got fixed! maybe ssme people are just abusing the drums (smacking the shit out of it and mindlessly cursing when they lose).

@kanethelos hell no! for about a week i played on easy, then i moved straight to hard (screw medium) and get at least 87% and above on all songs. (i know because i beat the drummers story mode on hard). and sometimes i do get really pissed when my kick pedal(which by the way isnt working that well) flips me off and i lose on double bass songs, so i slam the yellow and orange cymbols as hard as i can. and somehow my ghwt drums are working perfectly, literally! my kick pedal isnt so great though:(

I don't know, yall talking about how you've had all these issues. I've had my drums since the game came out and I've yet to have any issues, what so ever. Alot of people comment on how the drums suck.. but you have to realize they have to produce these things in a reasonable budget AND make money on them. Not an easy thing to do with a drumkit.
