I updated to this iOS 5 and all my contact, pictures videos and music that were originally on my phone disappeared. I've checked my iTunes account and no luck. I've sync'd the phone and still nada. I'm a Nana of a dozen grands and lost all kinds of pictures and video clips which bothers me more than the contact list. Can you help?

@jmanheated2 But honestly dude, I used to own the iPhone my sister is now using. Traded up to an Android. And the Android has most of what you talked about. The notification bar thing looks nearly identical to the notification bar in Android. Android also has an app called Iris. Which is an attempted clone. Not as good but fun to play with.

But what bothers me the most is a lot of features in IOS 5 were copied from Android. But Apple pitches a fit for copying from IOS.

Apple was not very original other than being more then simple and marketing like crazy. Ever since the iPods, they were late in the game, I was able to sport around a samsung mp3 player with video, camera, radio, accelerometered games, and much more, while apple finally released iPod Video lol.

@riotboyhd correction, my Samsung yp-d1 came out in January 2006, iPod video was September 2007 lol, they barely came out with a iPod that displayed photo's.... Also iPhones UI looks a lot like many of Samsungs touchscreens UI's before the iPhone was released. Theres a lot of things Apple has taken from many companies.

@relent107luke yes they copied the basic idea, but did it way better, as Apple always does. Now keep in mind, if it weren't for the iPhone, smartphones would be crap. I'd like to see an Android built and engineered as beautifully and professionally as an iPhone 4 or 4S. There isn't one. They all use cheap plastic basically, and one thing that does make iPhones great is that Apple does the hardware AND the software, so it's all perfect together and as stable as can be.
