hmm i know i'm only 15 and not suppose to be watching this cause i have no kids yet. but maybe in the future when i do have kids. i will use a few of those and disposal at the same time because you gotta remember your getting up in the middle of the cleaning the diaper if you use cloth diapers.
@lonleygirlDx Actually lonelygirlDx if you breastfeed, you do not need to "clean" the diaper, you just chuck it into your dry pail and then on wash day you empty the drypail into the washer. It's really easy. The only diapers we sprayed out were the very first ones with the meconium poops (it's a black/green sticky poop that have in their guts when they are born). DD's meconium was gone at 4 days so from then on until 6 months (when we introduced solid foods) we didn't need to do anything.
Diaper services make it all easier. They'll take care of everything(including washing, and providing larger sizes when needed) without big investments up front. Look in to services in your area.
I am expecting my newborn to be around 8 pounds at birth... she may be a little smaller but I'm giving myself a wide girth because I do have diabetes. I've controlled my sugars very strictly and she's always been estimated to be between the 45th and 50th percentile in growth, and is doing well. So, if she's about 8 pounds at birth do you think the Nifty Nappy and Lil' Joey's would be good for her, or should I not even try those? They look very tiny!
@MasasWife I was waiting for that comment. He has always cried during diaper changes. Each take there is a long break in between of happy cuddle time, but as soon as he was changed he screamed, which happened for a few weeks. Now he loves getting changed and smiles the whole time. I wanted to film before he grew out of those diapers and he grew fast so I couldn't put it off. But he was definitely loved on :)
I love the diapers, but you continuing to do the video while he was visably upset is bothersome. Comfort the baby first and try again when he's more settled. This is coming from a mother of 3 who have all been cloth diapered. My oldest is 11 and he was cloth diapered when cloth diapering wasn't cool. Otherwise good video.

I have tried the BB cover with a fitted. I don't have the small inserts that go with it. The cover sizes down really small though and works great :)
